FROM YOUR PASTOR (J.M.J)

Dear Friends,

BULLETIN SPOTLIGHT!

Recently, our Parish Pastoral Council reviewed the many ministries, organizations and commit-

tees of Holy Family Parish. A new handbook will be available soon in booklet form and online. This

booklet will outline and explain the many ministries of Holy Family Parish. In this week’s bulletin I begin

by highlighting two of these ministries.

In subsequent bulletins over this summer, I will continue to “spotlight” our ministries. Over

some of these weekends representatives from these various parish organizations, committees and min-

istries will be available in the Gathering Area to answer questions. I want to thank the Parish Pastoral

Council, under the leadership of Mrs. Barb Zorn, for keeping us “on task” in reviewing and compiling our

revised ministry booklet. This weekend we spotlight two prayer groups.

Have a good week everyone and God bless you!

Sincerely,

Monsignor Connell

PRAYER CHAIN COMMITTEE Margie Kurjan 330-507-1200

Holy Family Prayer Chain is made up of dedicated parishioners who pray for all people who ask and are

in need of our prayers. We pray daily, when and however we want for our list of people.

Being on the Prayer Chain is a very rewarding ministry. To know that hurting people depend on our

prayers and that we can help them hope and believe is a feeling like no other.

Everyone is welcome to join. You can call Margie at the above number or call the Parish Office at 330-

757-1545 to join or to add a name to the Prayer List.

THE 31 CLUB MARY JO FINNERTY 330-757-3381

A project of the USA Council of Serra International, parishioners commit to attending an additional Mass

each month on a particular date of their choosing. Members offer it specifically for priestly and reli-

gious vocations. They pray for priests, sisters, brothers, and deacons who have served, are serving in

the parish, and that future vocations will be forthcoming from the parish. If you can participate in the

31 Club, contact Mary Jo Finnerty at 330-757-8831.

Vocations - “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide

you into all the truth.” Will you let the Holy Spirit lead you to

your true vocation in the Risen Lord. . .perhaps as a priest or

consecrated religious? For more information call Father

Christopher Luoni at 330-7448451, or email him at

[email protected].

Stewardship Thought - “There are different kinds of spiritual gifts

but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord;

there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in

everyone.” 1 CORINTHIANS 12:4-6.

All of us are blessed, regardless of our own individual circumstances;

God has given each of us many gifts. How we use those gifts is our

gift back to God. For God’s plan to work, each must do what we are

called to do and guess what - we are not all called to do the same

thing!
