Salary: $49,500.00 – $74,000.00

Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Lab, Medical Lab Sciences, or Biology plus 2 years work experience in field required.
Master’s degree in Clinical Lab, Medical Lab Sci-ences, or Biology plus 2 years work experience in field preferred.
One year experience teaching adults preferred. Current Florida license as a medical lab technolo-
gist. Two years’ work experience in field. Demonstrate proficiency in written and oral com-
munication required. Demonstrate commitment to community involve-
ment required.
Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the administrator/supervisor for the Medi-
cal Lab Tech AS program and related certificates. Develop and evaluate courses, student learning out-
comes, and program goals. Develop program admission and graduation require-
ments, along with other relevant requirements. Assist in the design and development of materials in
support of the program. Assist with industry accreditation efforts. Assist in general program management. Stay up-to-date with professional trends in the
teaching field and help facilitate the continual change that may be required to keep instruction current and relevant.
Recruit and advise students in the Medical Lab Tech program and related certificates.
Comply with institutional, state, accrediting agency, and federal reporting requirements.
Instruct program related courses. Serve as the Practicum Coordinator. Participate in other program, department and col-
lege activities.
