Horror StoriesDear Staff,It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing Prada trainers & carrying a Gucci bag we assume you are doing well financially and therefore you do not need a pay rise.If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes and therefore you do not need a pay rise.If you dress in-between, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a pay rise.SICK DAYS: We will no longer accept a doctor statement as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.SURGERY: Operations are now
banned. As long as you are an employee here, you need all your organs. You s h o u l d n o t c o n s i d e r removing anything. We hired you intact. To have s o m e t h i n g r e m o v e d constitutes a breach of employment.PERSONAL DAYS:Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturday & Sunday.HOLIDAYS: All employees will take their vacation at the same time every year. The holidays are as follows: January 1 & December 25 TOILET USE: Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilets. In the future, we will follow the practice of going in alphabetical Order. For instance, all employees whose names begin with ' A' will go from 8:00 to 8:20, employees whose names
begin with ' B' will go from 8:20 to 8:40 and so on. If you're unable to go at your allotted time, it will be necessary to wait until the next day when your turn comes again.In extreme emergencies, employees may swap their time with a co-worker. Both employees' supervisors m u s t a p p r o v e t h i s exchange in writing. In addition, there is now a strict 3-minute time limit in the stalls. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the ' trap' door wil l open and a picture will be taken.After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company bulletin board under the ' Chronic Offenders' category.Thank you for your loyalty to our company. We are here to provide a positive employment experience. Therefore, all questions, c o m m e n t s , c o n c e r n s , complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravations, insinuations, allegations, a c c u s a t i o n s , c o n t e m p l a t i o n , consternation and input s h o u l d b e d i r e c t e d elsewhere.

Nothing says summer like shorts, flip flops, sunblock and a backyard cookout. While you are thinking about fun in the sun and tasty hotdogs on the grill, it is a
good idea to keep food safety in mind too. Inviting people over for a cookout can be a lot of fun, but summertime can be a prime time for foodborne I
llnesses. Listeriosis is one of the most deadly foodborne illnesses. It’s a dangerous fast-growing bacteria that can grow in both warm and cold temperatures.”Listeria is commonly found in raw milk and foods made from raw milk, as well as ready-to-eat foods such as raw vegetables, deli meats, store-bought salads, raw sprouts and the ever-popular cookout food – hotdogs. Many people enjoy grilling hotdogs at a cookout and Brown has some t ips on how to prevent Listeria.Don’t eat hotdogs right out of the package. They must be heated to at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit or steaming hot inside before consuming the. Wash your hands before and after handling uncooked hotdogs. In addition, try not to get the juice from the package on other surfaces, foods or utensils. If the juice is spilled, make sure to thoroughly clean all cooking surfaces, utensils and cutting boards. After the hotdogs are grilled, keep them at least 140 degrees Fahrenheit until served. If your barbecue is an all-day event, keep them on ice until ready to cook and make sure to refrigerate or put any
leftovers on ice within two hours of being removed from the grill.If the outdoor temperature is above 90 degrees, cut that time in half and get hotdogs refrigerated within an hour. If you want to reheat leftovers for later in the day, make sure the internal temperature again reaches 165 degrees or higher. Consume all leftovers within three or four days. If all leftovers aren’t eaten, just throw them away.Symptoms of Listeria include fever, stiff neck, muscle aches , loss o f ba lance , c o n f u s i o n , w e a k n e s s , vomiting and diarrhea. Keep in mind Listeria is extremely dangerous for pregnant women, older adults and t h o s e w i t h w e a k e n e d i m m u n e s y s t e m s . L i s t e r i a o f t e n r e q u i r e s hospitalization and is treated with antibiotics.According to the Centers for D i s e a s e C o n t r o l a n d Prevention, about 1,600 people fall ill with Listeria each year and 260 deaths occur annually in the United States.Backyard barbecues are a staple of summer fun for so many families. Using a little extra care will help ensure everyone stays healthy.
Food Safety is a Must for Cookouts with Friends and Family

I don’t smoke it, but I think marijuana should be legalized. Instead of paying for people being locked up, we could at least be making taxes on it. E v e r y o n e a r r e s t e d o n marijuana charges should be released from jail if legalized a lso . I t seems no more dangerous than cigarettes or alcohol.
There are now more job openings than there are unemployed workers. Sounds l
i ke an easy so lu t i on to unemployment. The problem is many unemployed workers lack the skill required by the o p e n j o b s . Vo c a t i o n a l programs at the local level in high school and junior colleges have been gutted over the past few years. Every young person is encouraged to go to college only to receive a degree that is useless in getting a job. Many would be much better off going to a vocational school. The US DOL should look at and
r e p l i c a t e G e r m a n y ' s apprentice/master job training a n d s h o u l d f u n d l o c a l vocat ional t ra in ing more effectively than what has existed In the past few years.
Donald Trump is all about looks not substance. He is always trying to erase the image of him as a no show in the military by standing with al l mil i tary personnel singing the anthem a n d a n a u d i e n c e o f g o v e r n m e n t a l w o r k e r s . Remember what you see and hear from him is only for show.
Cannabis debate: What is the point? Just legalize nationally like with alcohol prohibition and then let the state's decide.
I went and got a new drivers license and I got there early. There were 15 other people waiting besides me for them to open. Out of the total 16 people only two were not on cell phones. It is really sad when all people do is stare down at their phone and text. They have no idea what is going on around them. Put the phones down for a change and you may get a real life.
Democrats suffering from PTSD (President Trump Stress Disorder) reached an alarming low with DeNiro’s rant on the president at the Tony Awards. How low can you go?
I s t h e r e a n y c h u r c h o r v o l u n t e e r o r g a n i z a t i o n gathering food, supplies of any type, especial ly cleaning supplies, for Puerto Rico? Another hurricane season is upon us and in this entire year, I
have no t seen anybody col lect ing for these poor people! I am sure we all would love to donate as we can relate.
Actor Robert DeNiro’s recent public vulgar rant is typical of the left-leaning Hollywood elite. His minions do not want
Trump to succeed in anything, especially in Singapore. And that is very sad indeed.
You know, it is in all of our best interests if Trump succeeds.
I have had PTSD for a few y e a r s a n d h a d t o t a k e medication for it. About a year into it I started having Tachy Cardia (rapid heart rate) that required medication. My Dr. advised me that the medication I was taking for PTSD could possibly be causing it. I wanted to then go to a natural route so I stopped the medication. I now have a normal heart rate, however, I don't want to get back on synthetic medication since they all damage vital organs. I would love to be able to take a more natural route. Please pass 788 so that I can live a life without the severe anxiety. It's almost more than I can bare.
With the upcoming vote for medical marijuana I do have some major concerns with the bill and how it is written. If what I am reading is correct this bill is more liberal than California laws with very little coverage f o r e m p l o y e r s a n d a community as a whole. I am all for medical marijuana but not at the risk of public safety. Any
input is appreciated.
As a veteran who suffers from multiple injuries from my service to our great country, I am all for 788. I have sixteen medications that can possibly be eliminated with the passing of this bill. Why should it be considered illegal to get natural medicine as opposed to pills that are literally killing my liver and I must take more pills for to control it. I am a Christian man, I served my country, I have given my entire life to others, so why when I am at a point to finally finding hope to live a life without all these pills are people trying to stop it?
Well, we got our water bills today saying the water did not come up to standards. There is something wrong here in McAlester. I just moved to McAlester and I do love this l
ittle town but I just received my first water bill and included was a letter of warning about the water not passing certain guidelines. Makes me second guess my decision to move here.
Trump can do no right, I am sick of these liberals.

USDA Extends Application Deadline for Dairy Margin Protection Program to June 22
U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue today
a n n o u n c e d t h e r e -enrollment deadline for the
Margin Protection Program (MPP) for Dairy will be extended until June 22, 2018. The new and improved p r o g r a m p r o t e c t s p a r t i c i p a t i n g d a i r y producers when the margin – the difference between the price of milk and feed costs – f a l l s b e l o w l e v e l s o f protection selected by the applicant. USDA has already issued more than $89 million for margins triggered in February, March, and April, a n d U S DA o f f i c e s a r e c o n t i n u i n g t o p r o c e s s remaining payments daily.“Last week we re-opened e n r o l l m e n t t o o f f e r producers preoccupied with field work an additional opportunity to come into their local office to sign-up. We did get more than 500 new operations enrolled but want to continue to provide an opportunity for folks to participate before the next margin is announced,” said Secretary Perdue. “More than 21 ,000 Amer ican dairies have gone into our 2,200 FSA offices to sign-up for 2018 MPP coverage but I am certain we can do better with this extra week and a half.”The re-enrollment deadline was previously extended through June 8, 2018. The
deadline is being extended a second time to ensure that dairy producers are given every opportunity to make a calculated decision and enroll in the program if they choose. This will be the last opportunity for producers to t ake advan tage o f key adjustments Congress made to provisions of the MPP p r o g r a m u n d e r t h e Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 to s t rengthen i t s support of dairy producers. USDA encourages producers contemplating enrollment to use the online web resource a t www.fsa.usda.gov/mpptool to calculate the best levels of coverage for their dairy operation. The next margin under MPP,
fo r May 2018 , wi l l be published on June 28, 2018. Therefore, all coverage elections on form CCC-782 and the $100 administrative fee, unless exempt, must be submitted to the County FSA Office no later than June 22, 2018. No registers will be utilized, so producers are encouraged to have their e n r o l l m e n t f o r 2 0 1 8 completed by COB June 22, 2018.All dairy operations must make new coverage elections for 2018 during the re-enrollment period, even if the operation was enrolled during the previous 2018 signup. Coverage elections made for 2018 wil l be retroactive to January 1, 2018. MPP payments will be
sequestered at a rate of 6.6 percent.To learn more about the Margin Protection Program for dairy, contact your local USDA Farm Service Agency c o u n t y o f f i c e a t offices.usda.gov or visit us o n t h e W e b a t www.fsa.usda.gov.

USDA’s Farmers.gov Receives $10 Million in Funding for DevelopmentToday, the Technology Modernization Fund Board (Board) awarded funding to support the development of USDA’s Farmers.gov customer experience portal, which helps better connect America’s farmers, ranchers, conservationists, and private foresters with vital USDA resources and programs. The Board is chaired by the Federal Chief Information Officer for the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).Following the funding announcement from OMB, USDA Under Secretary for Farm Production and Conservation Bill Northey said, “Farmers.gov will provide a user-friendly portal for connecting agricultural producers to the USDA services and programs they need. This new resource also will reduce the time farmers need to take away from their fields today to fill out paperwork. We are very pleased that Farmers.gov is receiving funding to continue its development so USDA can improve the way we deliver services to our customers.”Farmers.gov is mobile device-friendly and can identify for farmers the most convenient USDA office locations. Additional functions will be added to the site, including an interactive calendar, an online appointment feature, digital forms, and a business data dashboard. Additionally, when the 2018 Farm Bill is signed into law, there will be plain language program descriptions and a tool to determine eligibility. To learn about the Farmers.gov vision, USDA’s farmer-centered design principles, and roadmap for the website , vis i t the Farmers.gov playbook at www.farmers.gov/playbook.

WHEN DID WE GET SO STUPID?Circumstances have been piling up to make me nostalgic lately but not in a melancholy way. I’m just longing for a time when people weren’t so freaking stupid.Maybe we’ve always had that proclivity. But in current times, we seem to offer up on a silver platter varied and numerous ways to hurt each other. What begins as something exciting and positive is invariably twisted into a Pandora ’s box of i l l -intended consequences. In fact, I believe it’s so p e r v a s i v e t h a t I ’ v e decided there needs to be a word describing such situations. I shall think on that.The lowest hanging fruit to pick on is our bloated government, so I’ll gladly start there. Until the G r e a t D e p r e s s i o n , A m e r i c a n s p r i d e d t h e m s e l v e s o n s e l f -reliance and helping their neighbor. But when the 1920’s stock market went d r a s t i c a l l y s o u t h , desperate times created questions in the minds of Americans. Would hard work really be enough? What would become of t h e m i n t h i s n e w landscape of shanty-towns and soup kitchens and bread lines?It’s easy to see why people w e l c o m e d Pr e s i d e n t Roosevelt’s New Deal. They needed relief and r e c o v e r y. B u t w h e n welfare followed closely behind, a good thing started it’s descent into being twisted into bad. It started as a way for the federal government to help people back on to t h e i r f e e t . N o t
surprisingly, over it’s 60 year run, people found ways to take advantage – false names and trading food stamps for things less that nutritious. But that’s what happens when the federal government tries to tell people it can take care of them.I can think of another o r g a n i z a t i o n t h a t probably started off with g o o d i n t e n t i o n s – H o m e o w n e r s A s s o c i a t i o n s . T h e premise is that keeping lawns manicured and houses well-maintained will lead to higher home values. But the truth is, legalistic people have done things like put a man in jail because his lawn died and he didn’t re-sod. Or place a lien on a house that had too many roses in the front flowerbed. Not kidding about either of
these! And just like the New Deal created a new mindset, so did the creation of HOA’s. Both of them drew a w e d g e b e t w e e n neighbors. Roosevelt’s good intentions caused a t i n y c r a c k i n t h e benevolence of American p e o p l e t o w a r d o n e another. As a whole, we stopped standing in the gap for our neighbors because the government was doing it for us. These two good things – but as people thwarted and twisted them, they just became opportunities for unscrupulous people to do the wrong thing.I tried and tried to come up with a new word, but I think I hit the nail on the head in the very first paragraph. It’s all just so stupid.
