Diploma of Quality Auditing (BSB51607) This course is ideal for people who wish to become peer auditors or to participate in external independent quality auditing. Participants will build a sound theoretical knowledge base and develop a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/or the work of a team. This course will help students to manage broad compliance requirements across numerous programs.

The Diploma of Quality Auditing provides Participants with a competencies to plan, initiate, lead and review a Quality Management System audit. Participants will be provided with the skills to:

Identify the framework of a Quality Management System aligned to International Standards.

Initiate and lead a Quality Management System audit. Report the findings on a Quality Management System audit

within a report.

Who is the Qualification Intended For? Preferred Entry Requirements

The Diploma of Quality Auditing is ideal for: Quality Assurance Manager; Quality Facilitator; Quality and Improvement Consultant; or Service Quality System Support Analyst.

Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include:

BSB40207 Certificate IV in Business or other relevant qualification(s).

OR With extensive vocational experience in auditing and without

formal auditing qualifications.

BSBAUD501B Initiate a Quality Audit This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to initiate and organise a quality audit with an auditee.

BSBINM501A Manage an Information or Knowledge Management System This unit provides the skills and knowledge required to organise learning to use an information or knowledge management system and to manage the use of the system.

BSBAUD402B Participate in a Quality Audit This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to prepare for and participate in a quality audit as a member of a quality audit team.

BSBMGT516C Facilitate Continuous Improvement This unit provides the skills and knowledge required to lead and manage continuous improvement systems and processes.

BSBAUD503B Lead a Quality Audit This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to lead an audit team as they undertake a quality audit.

BSBAUD504B Report on a Quality Audit This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to report on the outcomes of a quality audit and to take appropriate follow up action.

BSBWHS501A Ensure a Safe Workplace This unit provides the skills and knowledge required to establish, maintain and evaluate the organisation’s Work, Health and Safety (WHS) Management System.

BSBADM405B Organise Meetings This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to organise meetings including making arrangements, liaising with participants, and developing and distributing meeting related documentation.
