Can’t Hear?

We’ll put a message on the chat board when we start to speak and you may be able to hear the ambient music in the background.

Check the following;– You have suitable quality speakers plugged in and turned up sufficiently.

– The ‘mute’ on your computer isn’t switched on.

– Look at the drop-down menu next to the speaker icon at the top of the screen – have you muted your speakers?

– If you have a dialogue box on the screen, select the ‘Allow’ option.

None of these apply?– Unfortunately that means that there is something wrong with your audio

facilities or your broadband connection, but the webinar will be recorded and hopefully you will be able to hear that.

What is the Chartered Postgraduate Diploma In Marketing (PGDip)?

• A strategic level qualification focusing on organisational-wide marketing, rather than delivery of operational marketing.

• There are two stages;– The Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing which

consists of four subjects, each of which need to be passed.– Stage 2 (Leading Marketing) which is a work-based coaching

and mentoring project aimed at leadership development.

• Although Leading Marketing is called Stage 2, it is not a compulsory part of the PGDip.

• It is independent of the Stage 1 Professional Postgraduate Diploma and is a completely separate qualification.

• What is your current knowledge level? – Use the CIM’s Diagnostic Tool to assess this and also consider

the college’s Graduate Foundation Programme

• How patient are you and who’s paying?• How disciplined and independent as a learner are you?

– This will also help you to determine the method of study, such as PTE, IW or DL

• How confident are you in your ability to think independently and creatively or do you need more ‘rules’ and structure?
