Page 3 Student Leadership Event Day

Last Monday was a day where students practiced and developed their leadership skills. The art of listening, problem solving,

communicating, negotiating, co-operating and working as part of a team were high on the agenda. The students had a great time

with staff and the YMCA volunteers learning their social skills and leadership skills through many and varied fun and challeng-

ing activities. The day was followed by a sausage sizzle cooked especially for us by Mr Hennessey and some of our wonderful

parent volunteers.

This project was funded by School Focused Youth Services.
