TRANSCRIPT
• Never put oils in the eyes, ears or nose• Never put oils on a baby's face• Always dilute for babies and children• In general use only 1-2 drops per application• Internal use is children at least 6+ years• Use only gentle oils on babies, avoid hot oils until they are older• If an oil is too hot on the skin use a carrier oil (coconut/almond/olive) to wipe it off, not water
Remember these guidelines are starting points! You may need to dilute more for extra-sensitive people or parts of the body or make it stronger for other people or situations.
If you use common sense you cant do it "wrong".
• Protects sensitive skin from irritation• Weighs down the essential oil so less evaporates and more is absorbed• Makes your essential oils go further
Fractionated coconut oil is ideal because:• It has a very long shelf-life unlike other carrier oils• Does not stain• Is not greasy• Is colorless and odorless
