This

yearly

observance

is aimed

to

develop

awareness

on

the

problems

of

autistic

persons, and

providing

them with

a

supportive

environment to

live

with

dignity.

In

harmony

with

this objective, this

year's observance carries

the theme,

In rhis connection,

all

local chief orecutives

are

hereby

encouraged to

participate

in

the

above-said obsewance

by

undertaking

simple but meaningful

activities

Display of Autism

Consciousness

Week

Obseruance

advocacy streamer

in strategic

places

of

the citylmunicipal

hall.

The

design

of

the

streamer

is

downloadable

at

www.ncda.gov.ph;

2.

Inclusion

of

Auticm

Consciousness

Week Observance

advocacy

in LGtIs

activities;

3. Uploading

related

information

in

LGU

website; and

4. Providing web-links

with the

National Council

on

Disability Affairs'

website.

DILG Regional

Directors

and

the ARMM

Regional

Governor

are

hereby directed to

cause

the widest

dissemination of

this

Circular,

to

local governments within

their

areas

of

responsibilities.

Furrher,

all

concerned are hereby

advised to monitor

LGUs'

activities

supportive

to said

observance.
