    Dignity of labor

The status of workers was very low in ancient greek and romancivilization, capitalism also didnt do much to uplift the status of

worker. Though, socialistic system rose voice for the workers but itdeprived workers of their dignity.

In contrast to the aforementioned civilizations and economicssystems, islam established rights of the labors and elevated their

    position in the society.

    Demand of vicegerency

Man is the vicegerent of Allah in universe. Allah has bestowed uponman, many things like resources, senses. Man is to make good use ofeverything been given to him. He will be held accountable for

    bounties.

DEMAND OF MUTUAL COOPERATION In this world every being is dependent on others for wants and

services. By mutual cooperation only can these wants be fulfilled. No

work which is lawful and within the shariah boundry is low or

    humiliating.

    Prophets sunnah

Every prophet set precedence of manual labor. Hazrat essa, hazratmoosa, hazrat ibrahm, hazrat muhammad and similarly every

prophet performed different kinds of labor. Masses should follow the

    path of prophets.

    Personal conduct of prophets Apostle

    Setting the wage rates

Wages should be settled before labor is put to work. The wage rateshould be enough to provide the basic necessities of life to worker.

Wages should not only be just, but enough to elevate the worker tothe position of employer.

so who has a brother working under him he should feed and clothhim with the same stuff as he uses himself

The worker should be given wage abruptly in order to meet hisdemands.

The employer should strictly adhere to terms of contract. The work load should be with in the capacity of the worker. If a

worker is put to additional work, he should be justly compensated

and safe working condition should be provided to the worker
