FAO - Careers Advisers / Heads of Sixth Form / Heads of Science
Do you have students at Farmor's School who may be thinking of
applying to study medicine or dentistry?
Most UK universities require applicants to sit an admissions test in
addition to their other entry requirements. The UCAT (previously known
as the UKCAT) is required by the majority of UK universities and must
be sat in the summer of 2019 by students who want to apply to
member universities for entry in 2020.
Please forward this email to those students that need to be aware of this requirement to ensure that they are informed of this vital part of the university application process.
Tweet a link to UCAT to your school / college
What is the UCAT?
The UCAT is a mandatory admissions test for the majority of UK medical
and dental schools. Students sit the test during the summer before they

Which Unis require the UCAT?
30 UK universities now require applicants to sit the UCAT as part of their
