Digital Storytelling „The Europe of our lives“ Strategic partnership for adult education MAIN INFORMATION: In this project, different institutions from the Euro- pean Union will work together to incorporate the technique of digital storytelling into the teaching of curriculum content and to create, produce, share and exchange a series of digital stories about rele- vant issues. WHAT ARE THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT? to further promote our students’ skills for perso- nal, social and career development by teaching digital story telling techniques to enhance multiculturalism and multilingualism to use digital storytelling as means of expression and for personal and social communication to establish digital storytelling as a new teaching method to use digital storytelling techniques to express our inner world, our desires and aspirations, as well as the main conflicts in our current society ACTIVITIES: 1. Learning Mobility The workshops in England and Poland include: Learn the basics about digital storytelling Video editing Workshops Sound editing Workshops Photography Workshops Create your own story 2. Teaching Guide: In the Teaching Guide we will explain all the steps necessary to motivate our students to tell stories in a digital way. It will include Teaching Strategies and description of the whole process we have worked in the class- room to produce digital storytelling with our students. We aim at other teachers to get to know the powerful educational tools of Digital Sto- rytelling and to encourage them to use its techniques in the classroom. We want to ad- vise and guide them through this Teaching Guide. In this sense the potencial transfera- bility can be very high. WHAT IS DIGITAL STORYTELLING? EVERYONE HAS A STORY. We tell our stories in the form of short films and use digital tools to produce them. In this project, different institutions from the Euro-pean Union will work together to incorporate the technique of digital storytelling into the teaching of curriculum content and to create, produce, share and exchange a series of digital stories about rele-vant issues.
