• According to a survey from for-profit education company Laureate International Universities, students expect universities to be a lot more personalized in 15 years.
• More than 20,800 students at 37 institutions and 21 countries said that:• they expected more on-demand classes;• 68% expect free online materials;• 59% said social media will be used for learning;• more employer input on what is being taught in schools.

• Education is going through a revolution and Teaching & Learning (T&L) is at the centre.
• Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) is central to the future.
• TEL has the potential & capacity to broaden educational opportunity.
• Innovation in T&L is required as universities as we know them today will not survive in the future.
• Innovation in pedagogy and e-support for students, educators to meet this challenge- where the rewards are very high.
