Digital & Contactless Tickets

Digital tickets are an easy and convenient method for fans to be admitted at a ticketed Eastern Michigan Athletics event without using traditional paper tickets. Below you will find step-by-step instructions and frequently asked questions for digital tickets, as well as information on a new feature – Contactless Tickets.

Account Manager:

1. Click on the “Log In” tab in the top right-hand corner or the “My Account” drop down and utilizing the “Sign In” option.

2. You can enter your email address or account number and password to log in to your Account Manager. If you have NOT activated your account in our new online portal, you will need to “link your account” and enter your customer number and PIN, which has been sent to your email address on file.

Digital Ticketing:

Digital tickets offer fans the opportunity for easy, paperless entrance to Eastern Michigan Athletics events by just presenting your mobile device at the gate. Notes:

• Make sure your mobile device is charged on game day. • Digital Tickets must be downloaded to a mobile device.

• All of your tickets for a sport will be included in the same email so please do not discard that email until you have used or downloaded all of your tickets. If you lose access to the original email, you can resend digital tickets to yourself by reissuing them in the Account Manager.

• The ticket(s) emailed to you contain a unique identifier, so keep them confidential. • Each ticket will be scanned at the event. Only the first scan of a ticket will allow entrance

to the event. If a ticket has already been scanned, the attendant will be alerted and entry will be denied.

• It is recommended to download your tickets to your Digital Wallet prior to arriving at the stadium on game day.

How to Download Tickets To Your Digital Wallet:

1. You should receive an email from [email protected] titled “Your Mobile Tickets Have Arrived!”. Make sure the address is a safe sender or there is a possibility the email could go to your junk folder.

NOTE: You must access the ‘Your mobile tickets have arrived!’ email on your mobile device in order to download your mobile tickets

2. Under the header “Click here for your tickets”, select the game for the ticket(s) you would like to download to your phone.

3. A new screen will pull up with the opponent and date of the game. IPhone users can add the ticket(s) to their Apple Wallet by selecting the "Add to Apple Wallet" option. Android users can add the ticket(s) to their Google Pay Wallet by selecting the "Add to Google Pay" option.

4. A new screen will pop up that shows your digital ticket. Click on the “Next” button on the top right-hand corner of your screen.

5. Click on the “Done” button on the top right-hand corner of your screen. 6. Open the Wallet app on your phone and you should see the digital ticket(s) for the

selected game. 7. On game day, you can open the ticket(s) in the Wallet app on your phone and present

them to be scanned at the gate, allowing you entrance to the game.

*NOTE: Wifi is not needed to access previously downloaded tickets in your digital Wallet

Reissuing Tickets

This feature provides a fast avenue for accessing digital tickets if the original delivery email is missing. Fans can re-send tickets to their email address through the Re-Issue feature on their Account Manager. Steps to Reissue A Ticket:

1. Click on the “Log In” tab in the top right-hand corner. 2. Enter your email address or account number and password to log in to your Account

Manager. If you have NOT activated your account in our new online portal, you will need your customer number and PIN, which has been sent to your email address.

3. Once you are on the Account Manager page you will see a link for “Reissue” under “My Tickets”. Click “Reissue”.

4. A list of your available tickets will appear and you will have the option to select which ticket(s) you would like to reissue by clicking the ticket option.

5. On the next screen you will be able to confirm the tickets to reissue by checking the box next to each ticket.

6. The final step is to click “Yes, Reissue” to send the tickets to your email in a digital format.

Exchanging Tickets

Unable to make the game, it’s easy and free to exchange your tickets for another event within the same season using your Account Manager via your mobile device or desktop.

Steps to Exchange A Ticket:

1. Click on the “Log In” tab in the top right-hand corner. 2. Enter your email address or account number and password to log in to your Account

Manager. If you have NOT activated your account in our new online portal, you will need your customer number and PIN, which has been sent to your email address.

3. Once you are on the Account Manager page you will see a link for “Exchange” under “My Tickets”. Click “Exchange”.

4. A list of your available tickets will appear and you will have the option to select which ticket(s) you would like to exchange by checking the box next to each ticket listing.

5. Once you have finished selecting your tickets, click the “Next” button at the bottom of the page.

6. On the next screen you will see a list of available events to exchange your tickets for. To select an event, click on the event.

7. Next you will add the amount of tickets you are exchanging for the new event by using the plus keys. Click the “Find Seats” to receive the best available seat locations. At the bottom of the page a drop-down box is available to select a delivery method. Click the “Next” button at the bottom of the page.

8. The final step is to confirm the exchange information and select the “Yes, Submit Exchange Option” to send the ticket in a digital format.

Transferring Your Tickets:

Can’t make the game, it’s easy and free to transfer your tickets to another person using your Account Manager via your mobile device or desktop.

Steps to Transfer A Ticket:

1. Click on the “Log In” tab in the top right-hand corner.

2. Enter your email address or account number and password to log in to your Account Manager. If you have NOT activated your account in our new online portal, you will need your customer number and PIN, which has been sent to your email address.

3. Once you are on the Account Manager page you will see a link for “Transfer” under “My Tickets". Click “Transfer”.

4. A list of your available tickets will appear and you will have the option to select which ticket(s) you would like to transfer by checking the box next to each ticket listing.

5. Once you have finished selecting your tickets, click the “Next” button at the bottom of the page.

6. On the next screen you will be able to confirm the tickets to transfer by checking the box next to each ticket. Enter the information for the person who will receive your tickets by typing in their name, email address and an optional phone number.

7. The final step is to click “Next” to send the tickets to the person in a digital format.

Accepting A Transferred Ticket:

Steps to Accept A Transferred Ticket:

1. You should receive an email from [email protected] titled "Tickets Transfer Invitation". Inside that email, there will be a link to "Accept". Click on that link to proceed.

2. A new window will appear prompting you to enter the email address where you received the invitation to accept the tickets. Please enter your email and click "Accept".

3. On the next screen, you will be prompted to enter your Eastern Michigan Athletics account. Enter your email address or account number and password to log into your

Account Manager. If you have NOT activated your account in our new online portal, you will need your customer number and PIN, which has been sent to your email address on file.

3. A checkout screen with the tickets being transferred to you will appear. At the bottom of the page, click on the "Checkout" button to proceed. (NOTE: There is no cost associated with accepting transferred tickets.)

4. After clicking on "Checkout", a new screen will appear to confirm your order. Click on "Place Your Order".

5. You should receive an email from [email protected] titled "Your Mobile Tickets Have Arrived!". Make sure the email is a safe sender or there is a possibility the email could go to your junk folder. Follow the instructions inside the email to download the tickets to your digital device.

*NOTE: Initiating and accepting transferred tickets is not possible after the start of the event.

Return Tickets

Unable to make the game, return your tickets back to the Eastern Athletics Ticket Office.

Steps to Exchange A Ticket:

1. Click on the “Log In” tab in the top right-hand corner. 2. Enter your email address or account number and password to log in to your Account

Manager. If you have NOT activated your account in our new online portal, you will need your customer number and PIN, which has been sent to your email address.

3. Once you are on the Account Manager page you will see a link for “Return” under “My Tickets". Click “Return”.

4. A list of your available tickets will appear and you will have the option to select which ticket(s) you would like to return by clicking on the ticket listing.

5. On the next screen, use the check boxes to select which seats you would like to return. Click “Next” at the bottom of the screen.

6. Confirm that you would like to process the return and select “Yes, Process Return” at the bottom of the screen. This process may take several seconds to complete.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have multiple tickets; do I have to download each digital ticket for a game individually?

• No, as long as your tickets were bought together (i.e. not in different orders) you will be able to download the group for each game together and then save the tickets to your mobile device. Once you get to the gate, you will have to scan each ticket, but you should be able to do that just by swiping on your mobile device between each scan. There will be no printed receipts at the gate which should help expedite the process. However, if you placed multiple orders for tickets (i.e. two or more different sections) you will have to download the digital tickets to your mobile device for each order separately.

How do I convert my printed tickets into digital ticket?

• The easiest way to do this conversion is to log in to your 12th Man Foundation Account Manager and select “Reissue” under “My Tickets”. From there you can select the game and seats you would like to convert. After completing the reissue process, you will receive an email from [email protected] titled “Your mobile Tickets have Arrived!” Follow the instructions inside the email to download the tickets to your digital device.

What are my options if digital tickets don’t work or something happens to my phone?

• We recommend making sure your mobile device is fully charged on game day and downloading your tickets to the Apple or Google wallet, however there are options if a

problem arises. You can come to the ticket window, present an ID and we will be able to print your tickets. NOTE: This will work as long as the tickets have not been transferred multiple times, as the ticketing staff will need to confirm the original ticket holder in order to print tickets. This process will invalidate any digital tickets, so only the printed tickets will grant admission to the game.

I’m uncomfortable using digital tickets, can I switch back to paper tickets?

• Yes, contact the Eastern Michigan Athletics Ticket office at 734.487.3669 and we will print paper tickets to replace your digital tickets. Please note this will make your digital tickets invalid.

How do I download tickets that were transferred to me?

Do I have to have an Eastern Michigan Athletics account to accept tickets transferred to me?

• Yes, although it is free to create an account to accept tickets that have been transferred to you. By logging into or establishing an Eastern Michigan Athletics account to receive a transferred ticket, our ticketing staff will have a record of the original ticket buyer and transfer to be able to assist the ticket holder should any issues arise with the tickets on game day.

Does the person I’m transferring tickets to need an Eastern Michigan Athletics account?

• Yes, the person receiving your tickets will need to log into (or establish) an Eastern Michigan Athletics account to complete the transfer, but they do not need to have one prior to the transfer and it is free to create an account to accept transferred tickets. By logging into or establishing an Eastern Michigan Athletics account to receive a transferred ticket, our ticketing staff will have a record of the original ticket buyer and transfer to be able to assist the ticket holder should any issues arise with the tickets on game day.

Can I transfer my tickets to a person who does not have a smartphone?

• Yes. We recommend calling the Eastern Michigan Athletics Ticket Office at 734.487.3669 to make arrangements for the recipient as they will not be able to use the digital ticket option on game day without a smartphone. Options in this scenario include the Eastern Michigan Athletics Ticket Office mailing a printed ticket to the person if time allows or leaving a printed ticket at will call on game day.

Can I transfer my tickets more than one time?

• The ticket transfer option on your Eastern Michigan Athletics Account Manager allows you to transfer a ticket only one time. You do have the option to cancel a transfer before the transfer is completed.

Can I use digital tickets if I do not have a smartphone?

• No, but we can assist you with ticketing options which include the Eastern Michigan Athletics Ticket Office mailing a printed ticket to you if time allows or leaving a printed ticket at will call on game day.

Can you transfer a digital ticket just by sharing screenshots of a digital ticket?

• It is possible (must include the complete QR code), however we discourage sharing tickets as screenshots in case the recipient has a problem using the tickets on game day. By forgoing the transfer process available through your Eastern Michigan Athletics Account Manager, we lose the tracking ability of the digital tickets and will be unable to assist anyone other than the original ticket holder should an issue arise.

Can I transfer a digital ticket from Apple Wallet instead of transferring on the Eastern Michigan Athletics website?

• No, tickets can only be transferred through your Eastern Michigan Athletics account manager or by sharing screenshots of the digital tickets (must include the complete QR code). However, please note that by forgoing the transfer process available through your Eastern Michigan Athletics Account Manager, we lose the tracking ability of the digital ticket and will be unable to assist anyone other than the original ticket holder should an issue arise.

Do digital tickets create entry delays at the venue?

• They can slow down entry if digital tickets are not ready to be presented at the entry point. Digital ticket holders should have their digital tickets downloaded to their Apple or Google wallet on their mobile device and ready to be scanned before they get to the scanner. Once you get to the gate, you will have to scan each ticket, but you should be able to do that just be swiping on your mobile device between each scan. Digital ticket holders who cannot access their tickets on their phone should stop by one of the box office windows for assistance before going to the entry point.

If I bought tickets through a secondary ticket market, where can I pick them up on gameday?

• Tickets purchased on secondary ticket markets are separate from tickets purchased through the Eastern Michigan Athletic Ticket Office. Contact the ticket customer support line of the ticket supplier with questions.
