Central Station

A Security System is installed in a commercial or residential building. Upon a trigger event (like

a break in, hold up or fire), the system seizes the phone line and calls the CMS (central

monitoring station), which may be an alarm company or a special organization. The system

sends data over the phone line and is received and acknowledged by a hardware device called

digital receiver.

The receiver sends the alarm information to a computer where it is interpreted, processed and

presented to a dispatcher for action. In the case of a break in or hold up, the dispatcher may

attempt verification of the event by calling the premises (also known as a subscriber) or will

dispatch the police depending on the procedures followed at the central station or the

instructions given by the resident or business.

Dispatchers can also send medical help, fire personnel, service and maintenance personnel.

Digital Receiver The DR-4 is a 4-line Digital Receiver designed to interpret specified DTMF communication

formats. All information received is displayed on a 40-character LCD screen, and can be sent to

a parallel printer and through RS-232 serial port to a computer.

The built-in real time clock stamps all incoming information with time and date. Up to 256

events can be stored in the non-volatile memory, no information is lost or deleted when AC

power fails. The log of events can be examined on the LCD display or printed.

With a microphone & earphone, the operator also can listen to or talk with the caller

immediately through DR-4 when an alarm call comes in.

F e a t u r e s :

Non-volatile memory for programmable configuration and 256-event storage.

Real time clock.

Sound warning for each event.

1 parallel printer port.

FULL RANGE OF ACCESSORIES The LS-30 system includes a full range of accessories, (see below) so you can customize many features of the system. All the radio transmitters used in the LS-30 system, except the Remote Controller, have a unique random code that is set by the factory, with 16,777,216 combinations in total. The Remote Controller uses copy-preventing hopping-code technology, changing its radio code every time you press the button. The combinations possible through this hopping-code are up to 7.3 X 1019.

You may enroll all the wireless accessories and change their related settings, either through the guidance of the interactive LCD display on the Base Unit which is done simply by pressing yes/no button on base unit. Or by using a computer with the proprietary software "HyperSecureLink through an interface adapter, which offers a quicker and simpler way to perform the installation.

Sensors send 'check-in' signal regularly to base unit. When Tamper or Low Battery condition is detected, it reports automatically.

Photoelectric Smoke Detector adopts a photo emitter and a photo sensor in a sensing

chamber, which is designed to block ambient light, but smoke can flow through it easily.

Normally the photo sensor detects very little light from the photo emitter, but smoke causes

the light inside the chamber to scatter, which results in more light to be detected by the

photo sensor, and trigger an alarm. F e a t u r e s

LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) are commonly used in daily

life for many families. Both are colorless and flammable. An explosion would be caused by a

spark or a flame if they severely leak. To detect the leakage of natural gas, the detector

should be placed at higher position near the ceiling, because natural gas is lighter than air.

And for LPG, a proper location for detection is about 30cm above the floor, since it's heavier

than air. F e a t u r e s
