Shania Twain – The platinum collection
Front Cover
DVD video sign is only symbol on cover other than the title and image
Background is very plain, and the colour is
platinum which links with the title
Platinum is a rich colour used to describe things such as jewellery. It is a rare metal and this could mean that as the DVD is called the platinum collection, it is a
prestigious/ extraordinary collection of songs.
Shania is in the middle of the cover and is looking straight
at the camera so at the audience. She is also the only
image on the cover so this could suggest that she herself is enough to make fans buy
her music.
A script font adds elegance to the simple cover which makes up for the lack of detail. The white colour stands out against the platinum background
Back CoverList of songs in white again, but font is different to front
cover. It is back to being simple

Advertising some of her other albums to making
the most of the back cover to encourage fans to buy the other albums. More

inclined to buy the albums as they have bought this
one.
