Formed in 2002 this Scottish band have continued to find success. From a Mer-cury award in 2004, Best British Rock act 2005 and Best British live band in2006 they continue to wow audiences around the world. They are known forgenerating their own style and bringing the genre art-rock to its now popularzenith. They have created a simple rule: get the girls dancing and the guys areright behind them. And of course, it works. Their songs are so catchy that theyinfuriate you: you want to resist but it’s just impossible not to dance to the beatof tunes like “Take Me Out”, “Do You Want To” or their latest song “Ulysses”.

A welcome return by this group, a highly popular power pop band of the '90s;along with other revivalists like Matthew Sweet and Teenage Fanclub, theyhelped update the classic power pop sound for the alternative age, marryingbright, British Invasion-style melodies and harmonies to loud, grungy guitarsand quirky lyrics.

Music to stimulate the mind, the heart and the soul, Indian Rhythm and percus-sion meets western jazz . Baluji is one of the great musicians that has emergedfrom India specialising in sitar, surbahar (bass sitar), dilruba, pakhavaj andtabla. As well as being an exciting musician he is a great ambassador for theIndian music. Without any sort of musical tradition in his family this blind musi-cian was self taught, not even guided by famous gurus. His incredible successhas come through natural talent, hard work and pure dogged determination.

A trio that is not 3, live it is 6: Paco Loco (guitar and vocals), Patrick (piano andvocals), Pedro Perles (bass, guitar and vocals), Esteban Perles (drums and vo-cals), Rafa Gas (also drums) and Chuchi Cabral (bass and vocals).Fibrous songs where Paco takes the lid off his porous and lucid vision of rock. Atouching and penetrating course, as immediate as it is suggestive, rutted bygreat symbols like Neil Young, Bob Mould and obviously Lou Reed.

Formed in Nashville 1981 Jason & The Scorchers are one of Cow Punk’s mostemblematic bands. The fruit of what would appear an impossible marriage be-tween Country and Punk. The chemistry between Jason Ringenberg, the leanand crazy lead singer, and guitarist Warner Hodges, a hard rock fanatic, crystal-lised in performances that were hard to forget and records that the critics de-scribed as “Merle Haggard meets the Ramones”.
