The Laser Diesel Timing Kit 1869 is a set of essential tools for setting and locking the camshaft and crankshaft when changing the timing belt on Citroen, Peugeot and Rover diesel engines.The kit also forms a part of the Laser Engine Timing & Locking Kit 2246 and the comprehensive Laser Diesel Engine and Fuel Pump Timing & Locking Kit 2688.

If you are going to re-use the timing belt, mark the direction of rotation on it with chalk.

Remove the belt and check it for damage or wear. If the belt is worn you must replace it. Take care not to twist the belt.
