INSET DAYS: Monday 2 June 2014 and Wednesday 23 July are INSET days and the school will be closed to children. Half term is between Monday 26 May and Friday 30 May. The last day of term is Tuesday 22 July. Wednesday 23 July is an INSET day. Wednesday 3 September is an INSET day. WELLIES: The School Council would like some donations of old wellington boots for us to plant in – please hand into the school office. Thank you: Thank you to Hannah Carter and Elspeth McPherson for arranging such a fantastic choir workshop with Pavlos Carvalho. NEW STARTER PACK: We will be sending out the packs for children starting school in September 2014 at the start of the summer term. Active Kids Vouchers: We’re collecting! Vacancy: We are looking to add to our casual bank of Midday Meals Supervisors. Please see the website for details or ask at the office. A special thank you to Jenny Cochrane and Mrs Hosking for making it happen. Year 4 and 5 took part in a Festival of Languages at Warden Park Secondary Academy this week. They watched the pupils put on an array of skits. Quote of the day “That was the most beautiful violin playing I have ever heard.” Matthew. A huge thank you to Becky McLeod and Karen Farmer. Reception have been making Easter cakes. Blooming Marvellous Well done to the glorious gardeners. 6 schools took part in the Haywards Heath Horticultural Society Spring Fair; Bolnore won 2 nd place and a highly commended for daffodil growing. Football Football Football Football Our year 5 girls’ team made us very proud at a football tournament at Harlands this week. They showed great enthusiasm, commitment and sportsmanship. Well done girls! Reading the Bolnore Bash over Breakfast Hey macarena OFSTED produce a yearly report called Dashboard Data to show how schools perform. Governors are delighted that our dashboard data shows that children all made required attainment for 2013. They were in the top 20% for all schools in reading and writing and the top 40% of all schools for maths. Well done everyone! Look at our new outside learning space.
