Mission Statement - Dickinson County Library

The Dickinson County Library provides materials and ser-

vices to help residents of the county obtain the information

needed to achieve their personal, educational and professional

goals. The library will serve as an access point for patrons to

obtain interlibrary loan materials. Emphasis is placed on

providing materials and services that stimulate an interest in

reading and learning among children. Our goal is to provide

these services at a reasonable cost.

The Dickinson County Library wants you to read a winner! For April—June, the Dickinson

County Library staff picked several young adult books to compete against each other. The top

two winners were The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins.

For July—September the staff has selected juvenile fiction titles. The winner will be chosen

based on the number of checkouts the books receive during these months. You can help by
