Drifting off to the sound of the waves is a pleasure in Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa's bedrooms comprising of Doubles, Twins, Deluxe, Inter-connecting, a selection of suites including Junior, Penthouse & Presidential, each of them an elegant statement of style and comfort. Most of the rooms have a view of the magnificent Indian Ocean.

Standard Garden & Sea Facing Rooms

All Standard rooms come fully equipped with TVs offering a variety of satellite channels, as well as internet plugs for all email & web surfing requirements. The centrally air conditioned rooms contain mini-bars, hair dryers, tea/coffee making facility, complimentary daily mineral water, electronic safe, shampoo, bathing gel, soap and moisturizer. It encompasses an area of 36 sq. metres, which includes the verandah/ sit-out terrace.

Deluxe

The room has a total area of 44 sq. metres with additional amenities including bathrobes, slippers, extra lounge area, satellite television and jacuzzi in the bathroom.

Junior Suites

The Junior Suite has a total area of 86.93 sq. metres with an open plan lounge, dining area and bedroom. The bathroom has a jacuzzi. A very tastefully done décor enhances the beauty of the room. It has all basic facilities in the room, as is available in a standard room. There is an additional T.V. provided in the lounge area.

Penthouse Suites

With a private verandah of its own, the Penthouse Suite overlooks the wide ocean and the beach. It has a total area of 198.73 sq. metres. With subtle, but fine interiors, the suite provides an open plan lounge seating, dining room and bedroom. The bathroom has a single mould double glass vanity and jacuzzi bath along with all the above features of a standard room.

Presidential Suites

The Presidential Suite has a separate lounge, dining area and a dedicated bar with an open-plan bedroom, as well. With a total area of 228.61 sq. metres, it is provided with all the basic features. In addition to that, it also has the facility of a dedicated butler service on request. The room has a walk- in closet and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. With a private verandah of its own, the room overlooks the beautiful Indian Ocean.

July - Kenyan Safari Rally

July is the time for car buffs of all types in Kenya. Mid - July sees the Kenyan Safari Rally. This is a fast paced race through the wilderness of Kenya where drivers do not only have to negotiate rough terrain, but also assortments of wildlife. The 2-day rally finishes in Nairobi to a chaotic climax. On a slower note; the Ferodo Concours D'Elegance takes place on the Nairobi Race Course. This is a celebration of the wide range of pre 1940's vehicles in Kenya and isa relaxed day out.

August - Camel Derby

August is celebrated in the north with a Camel Derby and races are held throughout the day. There is also good entertainment for kids and local dancing.

November - Mombasa Carnival

The best festival in Kenya is the Mombasa Carnival in November. Every conceivable race and cultural group has a float here. There are plenty of stalls for shopping and plenty of dance performances. This is a spectacular display of Kenyan culture in its entirety.
