Introduction

This report is a summary of diamond drill work carried out on the Wolf Mountain Property which is owned by Rainy Mountain Royalty Corporation and Trillium North Minerals Limited. Operator on the property is Black Panther Mining Corporation (the Company) with offices at 2489 Bellevue Avenue, West Vancouver, B.C. V7V lEI. The report is submitted for the purpose of assessment. The winter 20 I 0 drill program was designed to test for possible undiscovered platinum and palladium (PGE) mineralization in an area approximately 400m west ofthe Seagull ultramafic intrusion.

Purpose

In September, 2009 the Company announced that a significant detailed magnetic survey had been flown over the west section of the Wolf Mountain Property (data acquired and processed by Terraquest Ltd.). The survey located features that are interpreted by the Company's geologists as being potential feeder dikes to the Seagull Intrusion (and possible northward extensions of dikes occurring on the Magma Metals property, located I 0 km south ofthe Seagull property). Subsequent mapping and prospecting located outcrops of ultramafic dike-like bodies, as well as boulder fields of ultramafic rocks typical of the host rocks that contain the PGE values in both the Seagull Intrusion and in the Magma Metals discovery.

Five angle drill holes were designed to test 5.25 km along a prominent north northwest trending linear magnetic anomaly within the Wolf Mountain Property - considered to be a possible expression offeeder dikes located immediately west of the Seagull intrusion.

Property location

The Wolf Mountain Property is located approximately 90 kilometres north-northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The claims are located in NTS mapsheets 052H02 (Shillabeer Lake), 052H03 (Eaglehead Lake), 052Al4 (East Bay) and 052A15 (Greenwich Lake) within llTM zone 16. Access to the property is gained by travelling 45 km north on highway 527 from highway 17, 22 km along the gravel Dorion Cut-off (Wolf Lake Road), and then north along the dirt/gravel Anders Lake Road which passes through the centre of the property. The majority of drilling is located approximately 14 km north of the junction of the Dorion Cutoff Road and Anders Lake Road.

Previous Work

The Wolf Mountain Property originally consisted of 42 unpatented mmmg claims, comprising 22,080 acres covering the 9 by 8 km, mafic-ultramafic Seagull Intrusion. The property is located approximately 90 kilometres north-northeast of Thunder Bay on Lake Superior. Avalon Ventures Ltd. ("Avalon") acquired the original claims in the fall of 1997 under an option agreement with a local prospector to earn a 100% interest in the property. Additional claims were staked and the property was subsequently joint-ventured with Avalon (50%) by East West Resource Corporation (25%) ("East West") and Canadian Golden Dragon Ltd. (25%) ("Golden Dragon", later renamed "Trillium North Minerals Ltd") in the spring of 1999. In fall, 2000, East West and Golden Dragon vested their combined 50% interest and indicated their intention to increase their combined interest to 60% and assume operation of the project. This was realized in 200 I, and the Companies continued the exploration. On January 15, 2004, the Companies announced that the remaining interests of Avalon Ventures Ltd had been purchased. In September 2004, Platinum Group Metals Ltd was granted an option on the Seagu II property. The option was returned to East West Resource Corporation and Canadian Golden Dragon Resources Ltd in April, 2006.

1998: Avalon Ventures Ltd. carried out Phase I Exploration Program, consisting of line cutting (200m spacing for a total of 16.8km), ground magnetometer survey covering the complete cut grid. Trenching, soil and rock geochemistry (176 assay samples and 9 whole rock analysis), and thin section work were also carried out. The program confirmed the presence of an ultramafic body with an anomalous zone of PGE mineralization being identified from channel sampling in a number of the trenches (Osmani and Rees, 1998A).

1998: Avalon Ventures Ltd. Carried out Phase II Exploration Program, consisting of infill line cutting (1OOm spacing) and expansion of the existing grid (total of 61.5km) with ground magnetometer survey on the new lines. In addition diamond drilling (eight drill holes totalling 1272 metres) and auger drilling with sampling (700 samples, 652 core samples and 48 black sand samples) was carried out. Seven drill holes (Table I) were to test the Central zone mineralization, and one drill hole to test the south zone. All drill holes intersected ultramafic and mafic lithologies. All drill holes except WM98-02 were stopped in the Nipigon Sill. Anomalous PGE's were encountered in all the drill holes (Osmani and Rees, 19988).

February 2000: Airborne Megatem test EM Survey flown by Fugro Airborne Surveys, 4 north-south lines.

May 2000: Diamond Drill program consisting of 2 drill holes and two drill hole extensions totalling 1997 metres. Drilling commenced with drill hole WM00-01 which intersected basal PGE mineralization at 719m. This was followed by the deepening of drill hole WM98-05 which also intersected basal mineralization and a zone of anomalous mineralization further up in the drill hole. WM00-02 was then drilled east of WM00-0 1 and intersected Archean basement at 359m with anomalous PGE values observed at the basal contact. Drill hole WM98-02 was then deepened to Archean basement with anomalous PGE values occurring sporadically throughout the drill hole (Caven, 2000)

2004: Platinum Group Metals Ltd. contracted a ground gravity survey to be conducted over the property by Abitibi Geophysics. The survey identified a large gravity anomaly to the north east ofthe mineralized area.

2004: Ontario Geological Survey, carried out a geological mapping program over the property in conjunction with the Lake Nipigon Regional Geoscience Initiative (Hart and Magjarosi, 2004, Hart and Whaley, 2004)

2004-2005: Platinum Group Metals Ltd. optioned the property from East West Resource Corp. and Canadian Golden Dragon Resources Ltd. and carried out a 12 drill hole, 4116.3 metre drilling program (drill holes WM04-11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, WM05-18, 19, 20, 21, 22.):

Drill holes WM04-11, 12 and 13 tested the intrusion to the south of the mineralization and encountered relatively flat lying sequences of pyroxene gabbro and peridotite, underlain by Sibley Group Metasediments unconformabley lying on Archean basement. No significant PGE mineralization was observed in the drill holes.

Drill holes WM04- 15 and 16 tested the east side of the mineralization and encountered thicker sections of mafic intrusive litholiges and two intrusive gabbroic sills. Sibley Group Metasediments where again observed in both drill holes lying unconformabley on Archean basement. No significant PGE mineralization was observed in the two drill holes.

Drill hole WM04-14 and WM04-21 were drilled on the east side of the intrusion to test a gravity and coincident and magnetic anomaly. Both drill holes encountered a series of mafic to ultramafic phases with two later stage gabbroic sills crosscutting. This was followed by Sibley Group Metasediments, which exhibited localized skarn development (magnetite and epidote) with copper and gold mineralization. This sequence is laying unconformabley on Archean Basement. No significant PGE mineralization was observed in the two drill holes.

Drill holes WM04-17 through WM05-20 and WM05-22 were drilled to test PGE mineralization north east of the mineralized area previously identified. All five holes intersected ultramafic lithologies ranging in thickness up to 494m with narrow PGE mineralized zones being recognized in all of the drill holes.

2005: Lakehead University, completed research on the mineralization, mineral chemistry and whole rock geochemistry ofthe Seagull Intrusion (Heggie, 2005).

2006: Lake Nipigon Region Geoscience Initiative completed a miscellaneous releases covering U/Pb geochronology results, determining three ages for the Seagull Intrusion ranging from 1112.8 ± 1.4Ma to 1124.3 ±4.8Ma with the cross cutting diabase sill at 1113.7±9.0Ma (Heaman and Easton, 2006). An open file report was completed looking at the mineralized PGE horizons and their relationship to sulphur saturation in the intrusion (Kissin et a!., 2006).

2006: East West Resource Corporation and Canadian Golden Dragon Resources Ltd. carried out a 3 drill hole, 2073 metre drilling program (drill holes WM06-23, 24, 25.). The spring 2006 drill program was tested the platinum and palladium mineralization (both basal contact mineralization and stratabound mineralization) in the ultramafic core of the intrusion. The holes encountered both zones of PGE mineralization (stratabound and basal mineralization). All three drill holes exhibited stratabound PGE mineralization observed in previous drilling (1998, 2000-2001; Heggie, 2005 and 2004-2005; Wagner, 2005a,b) and shows the continuation of the mineralized PGE horizons outward from the initial drilling to the mineralization identified northward in the 2004-2005 drilling (Wagner, 2005a,b ):

Drill hole WM06-23 intersected several lithologies of which a unit from 129.5 to 150 m contained elevated PGE's (259 ppb Pt+Pd), and an interval of stratabound PGE mineralization from 465 m to approximately 513m within a dunitic unit. Below the dunitic unit the intrusion changes to a peridotite followed by a melanogabbro which hosts the basal PGE mineralization to 719.25 m, below which there is no significant mineralization.

Drill hole WM06-24 found a rock with dunitic composition at about 350m, and within which there is the stratabound PGE mineralization from 410 m to 417 m. Mineralization consisted of a weighted average of 0.23 ppm Pt+Pd over 2.28 m. This is followed by a peridotite unit (595 - 620 m) followed by a feldspatic peridotite to feldspatic pyroxenite hosting the basal mineralization zone with a weighted average of 0.63 ppm Pt+Pd over 12m.

Drill hole WM06-25 also intersected three PGE horizons, two of which were in the peridotite and the third near the basal contact. The first horizon occurs at 314 m with a narrow 1.4 m zone with a weighted average of 0.29 ppm Pt+Pd. The second horizon from 390 to 438 m contains an interval of 1.98 m with average of 1.06 ppm Pt+Pd, and another 5.42 m with 1.78 ppm Pt+Pd (including an one metre interval with 2.93 ppm Pt+Pd). In the basal zone was an interval of2.55 m with a weighted average of0.73 ppm Pt+Pd.

A summary of the drilling results is found in Appendix B, based on information from the website: www.eastwestres.com, and news releases.

Regional & Property Geology

The Mesoproterozoic Nipigon Embayment has been interpreted to be an aulacogen or failed rift of the Keweenawan Midcontinental Rift System since it contains similarities to global rift systems; contains the contemporaneous chalcophile-depleted Osler Volcanic Group flood basalts and St. Ignace rhyolites that are fed by fissure systems oriented parallel to the belt axis as evidenced by northnorthwest oriented feeder diabase dikes on St. Ignace Island; contains the presence of deep crust beneath the central part of the Embayment; shows large positive gravity anomalies indicative of plume activity in the rift and contains bounding normal block faults that control rift-filling Sibley sedimentation such as the Black Sturgeon Fault (Franklin eta!., 1980; Sutcliffe, 1987; Smyk, 2006).

The Seagull intrusion is an ultramafic-to-gabbroic layered intrusion that intruded along one of the north-south oriented faults that control the overall tectonism in the Nipigon Embayment as seen by emplacement of such units from oldest to youngest along and from, for example, the Black Sturgeon Fault: the Waweig Troctolite ca. 1599±1 Ma and Syenite ca. 1590.1±0.8 Ma, the English Bay Complex porphyries and rhyolites ca. 1537+ 10/-2.3 Ma, the Pillar Lake Lavas ca. 1514 to 1120 Ma, the Sibley sandstones and argillites ca. 1537 to 1350 Ma, the undated Osler Volcanic Group flood basalts, the St. Ignace Complex rhyolites ca. 1124 to 1107.2±2.4 Ma, the Hele intrusion ca. 1106.6±1.5 Ma; the Nipigon sills: specifically the Nipigon, Inspiration, Jackfish Island, Mcintyre and Shillabeer Suites ca. 1119 to 1106 Ma; and the Osler Volcanic Group basalts (Fig. 3; Borradaile and Middleton, 2006; Heaman and Easton, 2006; Middleton eta!., 2004; Hollings et al., 2004; Rogala et al., 2005; Smyk, 2006; Richardson et a!., 2005). The Seagull and Disraeli intrusions emplaced on the north-south oriented Clearwater Fault offshoot the main Black Sturgeon Fault (the Clearwater Fault starting right where the Black Sturgeon Fault begins to tum its orientation to the NW-SE to the SE of Lake Nipigon, see Fig. 3) in the time bracket just before emplacement of the Hele intrusion: ca. 1116.2± 1.2 Ma for the Seagull intrusion and 1111.6± 1.9 Ma for the Disraeli intrusion (Sutcliffe, 1987; Heaman and Easton, 2006). These intrusions were followed by emplacement of the Fox Mountain diabase dike (Nipigon Suite) and associated Nipigon and Shillabeer Suite diabase sills from the Clearwater Fault (Sutcliffe, 1987; Richardson et a!., 2005).

The Seagull intrusion is the earliest magmatic episode of the Mesoproterozoic Nipigon Embayment in the Black Sturgeon area ie. older than the other ultramafic-togabbroic intrusions such as the Disraeli and Hele intrusions and the Nipigon diabase dikes and sills. It intruded through basement Quetico metagreywackes and pegmatites which have an Archean history of southward erosion of the accreted Max Lake-Beardmore-Geraldton greenstone terranes situated to the north of the Quetico belt which are seen by prominent magnetic signatures of the oxide-facies iron formations deposited in the metasedimentary subbelts of those belts (Salib, 1989; Hart, 2005). This greenstone belt in the vicinity of Black Sturgeon is generally covered by the later Sibley sandstones and Nipigon diabase sills, but some of the metabasalts and associated Algoma-type magnetite-chert iron formations can be seen on the east shore of Black Sturgeon Lake (Coates, 1972; Hart and Magyarosi, 2004). Another basement unit to the Seagull Intrusion is the Sibley Group sandstone which is a red bed molasses sequence that

deposited with northward erosion of Penokean granitoids from the south of the MidContinent Rift in Wisconsin and also from local erosion of nearby Archean greenstone belts (Franklin, 1970). Generally the north-south to northwest-southwest oriented Black Sturgeon Fault developed into a half-graben that was infilled with sediments thus partially controlling Sibley sedimentation in the Nipigon Embayment (Sutcliffe, 1987; Rogala et al., 2005).

The Seagull intrusion is a heart shaped body delineated by positive magnetic anomalies around the perimeter of the intrusion in the Leckie Lake Area. On surface, the intrusion has been mapped as a complex that includes lithologies of peridotite, olivine melagabbro, olivine gabbro and monzogabbro. Drill core lithologies are explained in the Rock Types section below. The area of interest with Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization is in the very prominent positive magnetic together with gravity anomalous area at the centre of the northern rim of the intrusion just south of Leckie Lake. Two stocks can be delineated here: the larger and deeper Leckie Stock which is up to 781 m deep and contains PGE mineralization along the basal olivine amphibole pyroxenite, along the basal dunite or olivine websterite above the olivine amphibole pyroxenite, and within the named RGB (Red-GreenBlue) reef higher up in the dunite or olivine websterite. Projected extent of these mineralization zones was defined with the recent drilling of the WM-08-26, -27, -28 and -29 drill holes which are highlighted in this report. The other stock newly discovered in the intrusion is an unnamed plug to the west of the Leckie Stock that is represented in holes WM-08-31a, -31, -32 and -33. It is shallower than the Leckie Stock by as much as 400m, does not contain the RGB reef zone as defined in the Leckie Stock and yet still retains the basal olivine amphibole pyroxenite-hosting and basal dunite- or olivine websterite-hosting mineralized zones (the second of which represents a new pulse above the interpreted more differentiated olivine amphibole pyroxenites).

Evidence for this being a new stock is mainly the interpreted round and inward dipping plug shape of the stock. One evidence of it being an inward dipping stock is the deepening of the intrusion from 390.33m in hole WM-08-33 southeast to 465.40m in WM-08-32, both holes of which are located at the northwest rim of the stock. For other evidence of an inward dipping stock, strikes and dips of the basement Quetico metagreywacke and pegmatites are used as a control on measuring the actual dip of the layered olivine amphibole pyroxenite and other ultramafics in the intrusion. For instance, since the Quetico has been measured by Hart (2005) to have a strike of 50 to 60e and a dip of near vertical to the southeast at this same location, and the bedding of the intrusion measured by orientation of serpentine fractures in the overlying olivine amphibole pyroxenite is a dip of sse to the south and is not in opposition to the sse dipping foliation (plunging southeast) in the Quetico metagreywacke; the intrusion is interpreted as surfacing to the northwest ie. hole WM-08-33 is the boundary of the plug in contrast to the deepening of the intrusion to the southeast in WM-08-32. Another evidence for the deepening of the intrusion toward hole WM-08-32 are the more steeply dipping serpentine fractures in the olivine amphibole pyroxenite at 70e to the south (plunging southeast) in contrast to the unchanged foliation of sse southeast in the Quetico pegmatite within metagreywacke. The Quetico foliation is the same since it was metamorphosed in the Archean prior to the Mesoproterozoic emplacement of the Seagull Intrusion, specifically ca. 2689-2684 Ma as a 02 deformation event on the belt (Percival, 1988). At another location of the stock, in holes WM-08-31 and WM-08-31 a, the layers are oriented in opposition to the Quetico metagreywacke because here the intrusion dips inward to the northeast in contrast to the Quetico metagreywacke, which dips to the southeast. In

hole WM-08-31, layering (serpentine fractures) in the olivine amphibole pyroxenite crosscuts the foliation in the basement Quetico metagreywacke. The dip of the layering in the hole is 65° to the northeast while the Quetico is 20° to the southeast. The intrusion in this area is also observed to shallow out inward since the layering (serpentine fractures) in the dunites shallows out towards the centre of the plug as it is away from the slope of the Quetico basement wall of the intrusion and the layers settle out more horizontally. Evidence for this is the shallowing of serpentine fractures/layers in the uppermost dunite from a dip of 75° north in WM-08-31 to as little as 15° north in the same unit in WM-08-31 a. In contrast, the characterization of steepening of layers in hole WM-08-31 proximal to the Quetico wall is shown by progressive steepening of dips of serpentine fractures higher up in the hole as opposed to shallowing up of dips higher up in the hole in WM-08-3la. This steepening of the fractures inward in this hole is probably due to rounding off of the top of this plug/pulse to a horizontal proximal to the wall of the magma chamber (Lesher, 2005).

Mineralization in the unnamed stock to the west is described as separate basal mineralizations in separate pulsating events in this area of the Seagull Intrusion, similar to the two basal, but deeper down, mineralizations in the Leckie Stock to the east. In order to describe these mineralizations as distinct from each other, distinctions must be seen between the two hosting units of these zones. The olivine amphibole pyroxenite vs. overlying ultramafics have been recognized as separate pulses to each other as evidenced by the trend of increasing forsterite % to a maximum in the olivines in the olivine amphibole pyroxenite (since the unit is more contaminated and has less primitive olivine towards the bottom) as opposed to the trend of an initial minimum followed by stationary variance in forsterite % in the above ultramafics; the difference in multi-element patterns between the Basal Unit-BM Units (contaminated plume olivine amphibole pyroxenites) and overlying Main Units (more primitive plume dunites or olivine websterites) of He~gie (2005); and also the trends of increasing £Nct from -4.0 to -0.2 and increasing 87Sr/8 Sr(tttSMal from 0.70340 to 0.72126 suggesting decrease in contamination of original plume picrites away from the basement continental Quetico wall as well as increased contamination by continental Sibley sandstone higher up in the intrusion (Heggie, 2005). The mineralized zones in the units show progressive fining up and decrease in sulphide from bottom upward within them; xenoliths of either Quetico metagreywacke or Quetico pegmatite; emplacement of new pulses as suggested by more prolific vein serpentinization in the lower olivine amphibole pyroxenite that doesn't occur in the overlying dunite or olivine websterite and so must have happened before emplacement of overlying dunite or olivine websterite. These; along with textures of spotted orthopyroxenes in the overlying ultramafic suggesting digestion of olivine amphibole pyroxenite with emplacement; show that the two distinct mineralized zones were deposited with two different pulses or cycles of magmas and settled associated sulphides with cumulates. These two different pulses are also evidenced by the two different lithologies and the decrease in MgO wt% in the olivine amphibole pyroxenite below the dunite or olivine websterite in contrast to the pattern, in the overlying ultramafic, of increase in MgO wt% due to cumulate olivine segregation followed by slight decrease in MgO wt%, due to contamination in the overlying dunite or olivine websterite.

Even though there appears to be little contamination in the overlying ultramafics Uust above the olivine amphibole pyroxenite), there have been zones detected here at the base of the unit, in eg. WM-00-0 I from 529 to 585m, and this pulse is rather large in all the Seagull holes to up to 200m in thickness, thereby allowing more sulphides to accumulate at the

bottom. Therefore, since there's evidence of new basal mineralizations with new pulses of magma with new contamination signatures and xenoliths in each of the pulses (not to mention jagged/brecciated/spotty pyroxenitic textures in the dunite or olivine websterite at the bottom contact suggesting turbulence of a dynamic magma pulse churning up the olivine amphibole pyroxene below it), it can be said that these basal mineralizations are of the shallow lopolithlmagma contamination/early sulphide saturation Noril'sk-type rather than deep lopolith/magma mixing/late sulphide saturation Bushveld reef-type (Lesher, 2005).

In comparison, the RGB zone detected in holes WM-08-26, -27, -28 and -29 is a Bushveld reef-type mineralization ie. it formed by way of a classic magma mixing in a typical deeper lopolith of an intrusion, as in the Leckie Stock to the east (Lesher, 2005). Since the RGB zone is found within the dunite or olivine websterite and not at the bottom contact of the unit, the unit probably formed as a late culminating sulphide saturation event higher up in stratigraphy rather than an early sulphide saturation and setting of sulphides at the bottom of the unit. This mineralization is significant too in that it has high PGE values with intercepts of 4.75ppm Pt + Pd at 535m in WM-01-09 on the Green horizon of the RGB (Red-Green-Blue) zone at that depth.

Other mineralization in the Seagull intrusion has been seen as sulphides in contaminated serpentinized dunite above crustal Sibley sandstone-contaminated feldspathic olivine websterites as disseminated pyrrhotite sulpides detected at eg. 75.25 and 75.65m in WM-08-32 in the upper dunite in one of the many feldspathic olivine websterite to dunite pulses/cycles in the upper part of that hole. These pulses represent a constant pulsating magma that digests rafts of Sibley sandstone and segregates sulphides in a Noril'sk-style fashion. However, these pulses are very thin with on average 4m width and the mineralized pulse at 75m having a thickness of 31m. Since there's not much lithology hosting the mineralization, it can be envisaged that the mineralization is thin and little, not to mention only about two areas in the hole where the thickness of the pulse is 20 to 40m as opposed to the common I to I Om thick pulses. Ideally, the combination of mineralization in all the pulses in total up to the depth of I 08m in eg. WM-08-32 could prove worthwhile for mining if mineralization is found in all the pulses. However, assays from this most Sibley-digesting hole don't show economic PGE. There are other reasons the Sibley sandstone is not a strong contaminant for mineralization in the intrusion. For one thing, the sandstone is a thin lithology that only occurs at shallow depths (in contrast to the deep Quetico contaminant) that would not have a big effect on the magmatic history of the intrusion. Also, modelling of contamination of Sibley sandstone on the intrusion shows that as much as an unrealistic 90% amount of Sibley contaminant is needed to cause such crustal contamination in the intrusion to give ENct contents of up to -4.0 in the intrusion from a starting plume ENct value of 0 (Hollings et al., 2007).

Kakabeka Falls, ON (Wally Magnussen) was mobilized to site SGW09-01 and coring began on Dec 12. Unfortunately drilling difficulties resulted in this hole being abandoned at 29.10 metres, short of its intended target. The company decided to suspend drilling operations until January 07, 2010 whereupon an EF-50 diamond drill of Cobra Diamond Drilling Ltd., 615 Hwy 130, Thunder Bay, ON was moved to site SGW1 0-02 and drilling recommenced on January 08 and was completed with hole SGW1 0-05 on January 16, 2010. All equipment was demobilized from the property on January 17, 2010.

Drilling operations were conducted from Thunder Bay by two 2-man drill crews (10 hour shifts) supported by a geologist. Core was logged at the warehouse of East West Resource Corporation in Thunder Bay during the duration of drilling. Logging/sampling was completed by January 18.

A total of 562 metres ofNQ core drilling was undertaken in 5 holes and 40.00 metres of core was sawn for ICP analysis (46 samples). Core is permanently stored in Thunder Bay.

This report was completed in February 2011.

Peridotite- dunite, serpentinized dunite This is the dominant lithology in the drill core, is always found at the top of the holes and often to~ards the bottoms of the intrusion above the basal mineralized olivine amphibole pyroxenite if olivine websterites are not found there instead ie. there is either dunite or olivine websterite depending on the degree of differentiation/contamination at that specific part of the intrusion. In holes WM-08-32 and -33, there is only serpentinized dunite above the olivine amphibole pyroxenite probably since the intrusion is shallower at these locations with less deep contamination signatures that would be evident in an olivine websterite. In contrast, hole WM-08-29 contains olivine websterite since the hole was drilled in the deeper Leckie Stock of which magmas would carry more deep contaminating signatures. Serpentinized dunite is often found at the top of the pulses/cycles since the pulses are always altered at the top where in contact with probable oxidizing fluids/hydrothermal alteration on the intrusion after primary segregation of cumulate olivines. Serpentinized dunite has a texture of black aphanitic to fine round cumulate protolith olivine crystals pseudomorphed by black serpentine to give the unit a soft, greasy feel (making it soapstone). Unaltered dunite is found in the lower parts of the pulses since there's less alteration. It is olive-green in colour with dominant olivine composition and feels more grainy as it is not soapstonized. The serpentinized dunite/dunite contains/originally contains up to 80% olivine with often up to 40% large up to 2cm oikocrysts of orthopyroxene as the intercumulus that are more leucocratic grey than the serpentinized olivine or altered to red iddingsite. The percentage of orthopyroxene to olivine could technically make the unit a harzburgite, however, the degree of soapstonization and olive green olivine composition in less altered units makes it an overall dunite-type rock. The unit always contains accessory fine deuteric biotite minerals disseminated throughout. Fractures of green-turquoise serpentine and talc and sometimes iddingsite and magnetite often occur in altered/broken up areas of the unit. Serpentine, talc, iddingsite and magnetite fractures often give the orientation of the primary bedding of the unit whether it be the regular horizontal bedding or steeper bedding near basement walls as a result of cumulate layering with pulses of magma or the more rare undulose local bedding formed with plugging of the intrusion at the tops of pulses. The unit when found at the bottom of the pulses often contains xenoliths of basement Quetico pegmatite or metagreywacke as in WM-08-32. This unit hosts the RGB and basal dunite mineralization zones.

Pyroxenite- Olivine ~ebsterite This unit is less common in the intrusion and occurs mainly due to contamination. It is found at the middle to bottom of the pulses below the dunite since it is differentiated by means of contamination of basement country rock eg. Quetico metagreywacke. It is grainier than the dunite due to more pyroxene than olivine- 60% pyroxene and 40% olivine. However, since there's still a lot of olivine, the unit is not quite a true pyroxenite/websterite but an olivine websterite. Pyroxenes are mainly black augite clinopyroxene or more leucocratic pale grey rhombic generally up to 3mm orthopyroxene. Often there are more feldspathic phases of coarser feldspathic olivine websterite (described below) due to contamination of basement.

Pyroxenite- Feldspathic Olivine Websterite This unit is most common in holes WM-08-32 and -33 and forms from Sibley quartz sandstone contamination as it is often found at the lowest part of the pulses above and associated with digested Sibley xenoliths. The unit is an olivine websterite that was feldspathized to light grey colour due to Sibley contamination. Often it contains coarse pegmatitic textures of pyroxene and plagioclase, but retains much olivine (thus differentiated it from a Nipigon sill).

This is a basal contaminated and mineralized lithology always found at the base of the intrusion. Modal % is up to 10% olivine, up to 40% pyroxene, 50% amphibole and up to 15% biotite. Pyroxenes are often large oikocrysts of leucocratic orthopyroxene and finer up to 4mm spotted associations of black augite clinopyroxenes. Homblendes are deuteric up to 4mm long tabular bronzy coloured minerals. Fine to coarse biotite is found mainly as primary deuteric or later hydrothermal overprint. The unit is quite vein black serpentinized throughout to give the sense of layering in the unit that is exaggerated by probably the most intense hydrothermal vein serpentine alteration in the intrusion. The unit is contaminated due to its overall differentiated composition and the presence of basement Quetico metagreywacke xenoliths in eg. WM-08-33. The unit always contains basal po-pn-cpy mineralization.

Quetico - Metagreywacke This is the main basement lithology to the intrusion. The unit contains a metamorphic foliation fabric in pegmatite veins feldspathic veins and also in orientation of fine biotites. It is generally a grey non-textured aphanitic to fine felsic quartz and feldspar to dirty lithic groundmassed greywacke. The unit contains mm po-py veins running through it.

Quetico- Pegmatite This is part of the Quetico basement but is the less common sweat felsic pegmatitic intrusive phase of the Quetico. The pegmatites are often foliated under the same D2 deformation fabric as the metagreywacke (Percival, 1988). The unit is white to light grey with coarse up to 1 em feldspars and quartz. In hole WM-08-32, the unit is in contact with the intrusion and contains coarse po-cpy veins that run over lg/t Pt+Pd.

Sibley- Quartz Sandstone This unit is uncommon but is still basement to the intrusion. In hole WM-08-32, the unit occurs as calcareous up to 1 em wide bedded light blue-grey alternating with light pink in colour unit found in association with surrounding or overlying contaminated feldspathic olivine websterite.

Nipigon Sill This lithology is called a Nipigon diabase or ophitic gabbro sill. It intruded as a later Keweenawan magmatic event unrelated to and X-cutting the Seagull Intrusion and occurs as an 80m wide sill in all the drill holes. The unit is generally light grey coloured massively textured and contains groundmass of fine grained ophitic associations of plagioclase-pyroxene with elongate long tabular plagioclase interlocking with darker more equant cleaved smaller rounded and black spotted augite pyroxenes. It is always chilled at the upper and lower contacts with the Seagull Intrusion. Generally toward the centres of the sills, there is lots of light grey up to 1.3cm poikilitic more FeO-rich diopsidic augite pyroxene and also more coarser up to 4mm developments of dark augite pyroxene (Sutcliffe, 1987).

In the lowermost 20m ofthis hole the granite is extensively disrupted by intersecting fractures which localize specular hematite, actinolite and chlorite in stockwork vein networks comprising up to 30% of the rock volume. Pyrite (2-3%) and chalcopyrite (tr-1 %) line fractures. The resulting hematized crackle breccia fabric, with little or no fragment realignment, is characteristic of microbreccias in certain IOCG (Iron Oxide Copper Gold) settings. Samples taken from the interval returned up to 500+ ppm Cu and <10 ppm Au.

A spatially related orange, buff and white mottled quartz-alkali-feldspar porphyry sharply cross-cuts other lithologies as recurring dykes and complex intruding masses. It is interpreted as a late volatile-rich phase, probably organized into apophyses of the granite, but also intrusive into it.

Conclusions and Recommendations

• The linear NNW-SSE trending airborne total field magnetic anomaly that was the original target of our 2009/20 I 0 drill campaign remains unexplained. It is possible that the five 45 degree angle holes passed over the source of this anomaly while in Nipigon sills. That is, the anomaly source lies deeper in the basement.

• First recognition of probable English Bay Complex in the area has excellent potential for IOCG Cu-Au, with the quality and sulphide content increasing northward. This also provides a possible mechanism (sulphur source) for basal PGE mineralization (Norils'k model) in the northwest portion of the Seagull intrusion. Accordingly, the WolfLake property has already been extended northward.

• Future work should seek to identity where the northwest edge of the Seagull Intrusion is in contact with pyritic English Bay Complex (free ofQuetico) by prospecting & mapping, to be followed by drilling.

Analysis Methodology

Core intervals were laid out by G. Gibson. Core was then split in half by diamond core saw with split half packaged in sample bags and sent to ALS Chemex in Thunder Bay for primary crushing, then forwarded to Vancouver for complete analysis. Samples were analysed for platinum group elements (code ICP PGM-23) and copper, nickel, zinc, lead and other metals and elements were analysed by ME-ICP41 and whole rock analysis was carried out by MEXRF06 and ME-ICP81 on select samples.

DESCRIPTION

0.00 3.00 Casing

3.00 29.18 OLIVINE DIABASE (Nipigon Sills) Dark green, massive, homogenous, medium grained. Comprised of plagioclase (59%), clinopyroxene (29%), olivine (6%), magnetite (2,3%), ilmenite (1 %), pyrrhotite (<0.5%) and chalcopyrite (tr). Primary fabric is holocrystalline, ophitic, with pale grey plagioclase laths (<0.1 x 1mm) enclosed by interlocking green augite oikocrysts (to 0.4mm). Olivine is present as minute scattered to clustered equant bronze to yellowiJreen grains (<0.2mm). Accessory ilmenite and magnetite occur as minute intergranular segregations, pyrrhotite as fine disseminations and blebs.

This unit is characterized by gradation (on a scale of metres) into gabbroic pyroxenite as noted below, accompanied by increase in primary grain size, reduction in plagioclase content, and increase in augite, olivine and magnetite.

Unit is cut by discrete planar microveinlets lined by dark green chlorite, pale greenish white talc (soapy to the touch), and occasionally by bluish grey melanterite/epsomite? crusts & efflorescence (<2%) 2,5 mm thick @35° to ca, slightly calcareous

Moderately hard, blocky, tough, competent core Magnetic Recovery -95%.

8.5 10.5 Possible blocky xenoliths to 1m in size mimic composition of enclosing diabase, but are slightly coarser grained, with diffuse/irregular margins

20.00 29.18 Gabbroic pyroxenite. Gradational contact over several em. Subtle transition is marked by increase in grain size, with preservation of large ghost-like lavenderiJreen partially resorbed orthopyroxene oikocrysts 15-20mm (40-50%) enclosing plagioclase laths to 1 x 5mm. The surrounding groundmass is dark green medium grained diabase as above, imparting a weak globular mottling to the core. The oikocrysts occasionally reveal cores of cleaved hypersthene with distinctive schillerization to bronze pseudo-metallic sheen or lustre. Plagioclase (40-50%), orthopyroxene (10-20%), clinopyroxene (20-30%), olivine (8-15%), magnetite (5-7%). Strongly magnetic.

0.00 14.00 Boulders & rubble Clasts: up to 70 em. (80% diabase, 20% granite -see general rock descriptions below). Milled core fragments with rare graphitic gouge. Fines largely removed with drill fluids. Recovery -40%.

14.00 24.98 Granite to Syenite (probable English Bay Complex) Pinkish-grey, massive, homogenous, medium to coarse grained. Comprised of K-spar (22%), plagioclase (20%) and quartz (8%) phenocrysts in a medium grained ground mass of quartz (17%), plagioclase (7%), biotite (8%), clinopyroxene (6%), apatite? (<1%), ilmenite (<0.5%), pyrite (<0.5%) and opaques (1 %). K-spar is present as stout prismatic to eroded ragged phenocrysts, 1-4mm, weakly concentrically zoned & extensively clouded by ocherous orange-brown v. f. gr. Fe-oxide/sericite. Plagioclase occurs as pale grey idiomorphic laths to 3mm often with narrow peripheral growth zonation, partially sausseritized especially along margins and albite twin planes imparting a patchy buff to flesh-colored variegation. Quartz occurs as discrete clear vitreous isolated subhedral crystals to 5mm. The ground mass is made up of intergranular quartz, biotite, augite-diopside and accessory minerals, <1 mm grain size. Pale green equant augite-diopside grains are partially altered to epidote. Biotite books typically show incipient alteration to chlorite. Ratio of phenocrysts to matrix: 60:40 by volume, but unit can grade to crowded matrix-supported quartz-feldspar porphyry A weak but pervasive mineral foliation is accentuated by diffuse quartz-feldspar rich (leucosome), and biotite-augiteenriched (melanosome) compositional bands typically 2-20 em thick. Unit is cut by pale green quartz-chlorite/epidote microveinlets (<2%) 2-20mm thick @20° to ca, and by irregular, dark grey argillaceous/hematitic/chloritic bands and web-like masses (<0.5%) 1-3mm thick @80-90° to ca, parallel to foliation. Moderately hard, blocky, competent core Lower contact is sharp with underlying diabase @72° to ca Recovery -95%.

DESCRIPTION

0.00 29.00 Casing (16m of casing was broken off & lost. hole moved 2' and re-drilled).

29.00 32.00 Rubble Clasts: up to 70 em. (98% diabase, 2% granite- see general rock descriptions below). Milled core fragments with rare graphitic gouge. Fines largely removed with drill fluids. Recovery -60%.

32.00 107.76 OLIVINE DIABASE (Nipigon Sills) Dark green, massive, homogenous, medium grained. Comprised of plagioclase (59%), clinopyroxene (29%), olivine (6%), magnetite (2-3%), ilmenite (1%), pyrrhotite

(<0.5%) and chalcopyrite (tr). Primary fabric is holocrystalline, ophitic, with pale grey plagioclase laths (<0.1 x enclosed by interlocking green augite oikocrysts (to 0.4mm). Olivine is present as minute scattered to clustered equant bronze to yellow-green grains (<0.2mm). Accessory ilmenite and magnetite occur as minute intergranular segregations, pyrrhotite as fine disseminations and blebs.

This unit is characterized by continuous gradation (on a scale of metres) into gabbroic pyroxenite and pyroxenite as noted below, accompanied by increase in primary grain size, reduction in plagioclase content, and increase in augite, olivine and magnetite.

Unit is cut by discrete planar microveinlets lined by dark green serpentine, pale greenish white talc (soapy to the touch), and occasionally by bluish grey melanterite/epsomite crusts & efflorescence (<2%) 2-5 mm thick @35° to CA, slightly calcareous.

Moderately hard, blocky, tough, competent core. Magnetic. Lower contact is sharp against Quetico basement. but very difficult to discern due to fine grain size and dark grey

colors, -32° to CA & about 25° of discordance with banding in the underlying gneiss. Recovery -95%.

33.59 = Subrounded inclusion of gabbroic pyroxenite, 2cm x 3cm. 35.24 = Serpentine-lined brittle fracture @34° to CA

- -Mineraliza lion

36.46 to 40.88 = Gabbroic pyroxenite. Gradational contact over several em. Subtle transition is marked by increase Pyrrhotite tr -1% in grain size, with preservation of large ghost-like lavender-green partially resorbed orthopyroxene oikocrysts 15-20mm (40-50%) enclosing plagioclase laths to 1 x 5mm. Lower contact difficult to place, gradational over-1m.

41.40 to 44.22 = Gabbroic pyroxenite. Fairly sharp contacts. Distinctly separate phase from the olivine diabase. Pyrrhotite tr- 1% 45.78 =Chlorite-lined brittle fracture @47" to CA, some core loss over Scm

46.21 to 101.34 = Gabbroic pyroxenite. (as above) Pyrrhotite tr- 1% 49.62 = Serpentine-lined brittle fracture @40° to CA

(Quetico Basement) Meta greywacke. Protolith is feldspathic greywacke, impure clastics Grey-brown, fine to medium grained Swirled quartz (35%) feldspar (35%) biotite (1 0%) diopside (1 0%) hornblende (5%) gneiss containing 10-20% free quartz

segregations as augen, lenses, rootless fold hinges & discontinuous layers to 5cm wide. Typically shows weak color banding by alternating brown (biotite-rich) and green-grey calc-silicate (diopside-rich) compositional bands 2-20mm wide. Recurring dark green weakly banded amphibolite sub-units made up of hornblende (40%), biotite (40%) and plagioclase (20%) aggregate several metres in thickness and locally comprise up to 30% of the rock volume.

Pyrrhotite (<1%) is ubiquitous as fine disseminations. Strongly developed penetrative mineral foliation. Minor folds are indicative of isoclinal deformation. Mineralogy, fabric and partial melting are indicative of upper amphibolite to granulite facies regional metamorphism. Unit is cut by a persistent narrow (<1mm) chlorite-lined fractures (<2%) and partings, parallel to the dominant foliation. Uppermost few metres is hematite stained (weathering of Quetico landmass below Sibley unconformity). Moderately hard, flaggy to blocky, competent core. Generally non-magnetic. Lower contact with granite is abrupt, placed at last recognized amphibolite band.

Orange K-spar (30%) and buff-orange perthite (45%) occur as large interlocking irregular CP tr porphyrocrysts up to 2 x 3cm in size with interstitial white quartz (18%), and relict pockets of biotite (6%) now almost completely altered to chlorite. The unit displays a characteristic vermicular, worm-like texture locally trending to graphic granite. It is extensively hematized along a multi-stage network of quartz-filled microveinlets (partially healed) and is cut by discrete narrow chlorite-lined brittle fractures (1 %) with pyrite (1 %) and chalcopyrite (tr). The unit varys little in composition and sharply cross-cuts other lithologies as recurring dykes and complex intruding masses from a few centimetres up to several metres thick. It is interpreted as a late volitile-rich phase, probably organized into apophyses of the granite (English Bay Complex) noted at the base of the hole, but also intrusive into it.
