The brainchild of Los Angeles Drag Queen Erika Simone, Driving is a Drag is the world’s only Drag Queen rideshare service and tour operator combining one-part Taxicab Confessions, one-part Cash Cab, and another part Borat … in DRAG! Dress up in feather boas, sing along to your karaoke favorites, or get an impromptu Hollywood tour … Driving is a Drag is a Lyft or Uber experience like no other. Erika and Driving is a Drag has both received a wealth of attention since “coming out” in late 2014, including over twenty profiles in press outlets like LA Weekly, USA Today, Queerty, Mashable, and Rideshare Guy. Additionally, Erika will soon appear as a contestant in the upcoming Oxygen Network pilot Start Me Up (think Shark Tank meets Kickstarter), will be featured in the upcoming documentary Dragged filming Summer 2015, and is in negotiations to develop and star in her own reality television show. Most recently, Erika was a brand ambassador for Lyft during Pride LA and appeared in a live segment of The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Erika hopes to use these shows and exposure to grow, and eventually franchise, the business across the country to provide Drag Queens with a sustainable business and LGBTQ individuals with a safe-ride alternative.

The Drag Car Sessions is a new, original series featuring interviews and performances from up and coming indie bands, singer songwriters, DJs, comedians, actors, and celebrities. Filmed entire within the confines of the DRAGMOBILE, Erika takes artists on a fabulous journey through Los Angeles to traverse some of the city’s most famous streets including Sunset, Vine, Hollywood, and Mulholland. Along the way, Erika asks off-the-wall and often times hilarious questions to give viewers insight into their favorite artists. Bands and performers also have a chance to debut new music, try out new stand up routines, or just have a little fun with props.
