Director's Note: When given the opportunity to work on a Disney productionI'm the first person to say 'I'm in!' I love Disney. The magic, the dreams, and the ability to transport you into 'a whole new world.' The magic of the Little Mermaid is breathtaking. The task of trying to transport you to 'Under the Sea' while you remain on dry land is to say the least, challenging. The cast and crew of this production have worked tirelessly to bring you the Disney magic of The Little Mermaid. With the largest cast we've had on this stage to date, and some VERY crowded dressing rooms, we cannot wait for you to experience Disney's The Little Mermaid. Mark Casenta (Windward/Sailor) is thrilled to return to the Everett stage. He was recently seen as Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast

and playing the leading role of Shrek last June. It's no surprise Mark is an avid Broadway fan. When not on stage, Mark is a Counselor in Wilmington. Thanks to Chris and Mary for their continued support.

Kayla Creasy (Ensemble/Seagull): This is my first production with the Everett theatre but definitely will not be my last. In The Little Mermaid, I am a Seagull and in ensemble. Outside of theatre, I have been dancing

for 12 years. I'm also in the marching band and was in varsity cheerleading at my school.

Zachary Deakyne (Chef/Sailor/ Ensemble) began performing on stage in 2014, and has done many shows and cabarets with the

Everett, most recently, “Movie Song & Villains Cabarets”. His favorite stage role was Jojo in Caravel Academy’s production of “Seussical”.

He is excited to be in this production of The Little Mermaid, and looks forward to spending time with his friends in the show!!

Kristy Echols (Scuttle) is excited to once again be on the Everett Stage! You may have seen her previously in Beauty and the Beast,

Seussical, Fabulous Fable Factory, Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, or Esther the Musical. She currently works for University of Delaware 4-H and the

Appoquinimink School District.

Julianna Eddis (Ensemble) really enjoys plays and is glad that she got to be in The Little Mermaid at the Everett. Besides acting, she

loves volleyball, animals and her family.

Sophia Eddis (Ensemble) has been doing plays at the Everett for a very long time, and she is very excited to do one again. She wants to thank all the directors and people who have helped out wit the play for

all the hard work and stress they went through to make this play happen.

Leslie Bailey (Maid) has been a part of the Everett Theater family since 2014 and loves helping out where ever possible. She has

been onstage performing, a part of the tech crew, and music directed shows in the past. She's knows you're going to clap your

fins for this production!

Stephanie Bailey (Allana/Seagull) is a frequent performer at The Everett and is excited to be in the final show of the 2016-2017

season. She fills her time outside of the theater with 5 other jobs and stays busy! Enjoy the show!

Diego Boateng (Sebastian) Hello! My name is Diego! I am 22 years old and I'll be playing Sebastian in this musical! I've been in

musical theatre since high school including In The Heights, Aladdin where I played the Genie & Wizard of Oz playing the

Cowardly Lion! I hope you enjoy the show!

Bria Borders (Ursula): Greetings from your favorite sea witch! Bria is a senior at Delaware State University majoring in chemistry

and minoring in theatrical arts. She is a member of Alpha Psi Omega. She loves the stage so much that her family has

nicknamed her "Starr!"

Arielle Brittingham (Ensemble) is a nuclear medicine technologist who is excited to be in her first show at The Everett!

She enjoys photography, volleyball, and singing showtunes. She is part of the Ensemble.

Taylor Brittingham (Aquata) is an x-ray technologist thrilled to be joining the cast of The Little Mermaid for her debut into the theatre

world at The Everett. She loves baking, writing, singing, and of course, all things Disney!

Kaci Gravatt (Stingray/Chef/Flamingo): Despite growing up anti- princess (she was more of a Jungle Book/Robin Hood kind of girl),

Kaci is thrilled to be a part of The Little Mermaid, and has had a blast learning how sha-la-las, hoo-hoos, and ya-yas can sound so great

together!

Mary Beth Jacobs (Ensemble) is performing in her third show at The Everett, and she is so excited to be a part of The Little Mermaid. This was her favorite movie as a child and cherishes the story and songs.

She loves performing and appreciates the friendships she's made here. She also thanks her continued support from her friends and

family.

Gaea Lawton (Ariel) is so excited to be in her first show at the Everett Theatre! She has done more than 30 shows since she was 6. Among her favorite roles are "Amanda" in Because of Winn Dixie, "Gabriella" in High School Musical, and "Annie" in Annie. Love to Ms. Mary, Mr.

Chris, and to all her new friends in the cast and crew.

Jason Messinger (Grimsby) is excited to be making his fourth appearance on the Everett stage in six months! He was recently Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Mrs. Bumbrake in Peter and the Starcatcher, and Mr. Mayor in Seussical. Jason loves the great

environment and family that the Everett Theater has created and will definitely be back for more shows!

Samantha Moscany (Jetsam) is very excited for her first show with the Everett and working with Gerri (Flotsam) and Bria (Ursula) has

been a blast. She was last seen in Showtune at Penn's Landing Playhouse in Philadelphia. A huge thank you goes out to all involved

with the Little Mermaid who have put so much hard work into this production. Also, she would like to thank her family and friends who

support her especially, her parents, Laurie and Mike, brother Mike, and fiancee, Joe.

Bev Fawcett (Chef/Sailor) has been in many different productions at the Everett Theatre during the past 20 years, whether on stage singing or in pit bands playing her flute. She also enjoys singing in

Everett Cabarets, and is SO excited to be part of The Little Mermaid cast!

Jaide Fisher (Flounder) is a child actor that loves the theater. He is best known for his role on TV One and has been doing

community theater since he was five. Some favorite shows are Willy Wonka (Grandpa Joe), Alice in Wonderland (Tweedle Tee & at the Everett: Ensemble), Pinocchio, Charlotte’s Web, and Charlie Brown Christmas (Pig Pen). Jaide would like to thank his support

system and all the love he gets.

Caleb Ford (Ensemble) is excited to be in his first full length musical. His recent performances include Rats: The Story of the

Pied Piper in which he played Quigley. Bugsy Malone Jr. in which he played Dandy Dan. Most recently he was in Peter and the

Starcatcher in which he played Ted.

Stacey Gerard (Arista) recently graduated from West Chester University where she studied music education. She is thrilled to be in her second production at the Everett Theatre; her first was Once On This Island. Stacey would like to thank Chris and Mary for the

opportunity to be in this wonderful show.

Hannah Gilheany (Ensemble) is a fifth grader at MOT Charter School. This is her fourth show at the Everett. She was last seen in

Seussical. She loves acting here and thinks it is awesome. She hopes you love the show!

Terence Gilheany (Sailor/Chef) is performing in his first show at the Everett, and he is so excited to perform with his daughter.

Amanda Ostrusky (Maid/Ensemble): I am a Music teacher at Bunker Hill Elementary School. I have been teaching music for 17 years. I am the tubist of the Clarion Brass Quintet. I have always

loved theater. In high school I was in Once Upon A Mattress and TheMusic Man.

My Everett shows include Once On This Island, A Little Night Music, Secret Garden, Beauty and the Beast, Side by Side Sondheim and

various cabarets.

Beth Ostrusky (Ensemble): I'm a 7th grader at AGW middle school. I have been in many plays my favorite being in the Jungle Book as Baloo. I also been playing piano recently. I used to play a

baritone but as I call it a tiny tuba. I have a huge obsession with cats so I have 3 at home called Pebbles, Lucy, and Shadow.

Geri Reynolds (Flotsam) has been a veteran of the stage since

1987, with accomplishments such as 9 to 5, Charlotte’s Web, Gypsy, Damn Yankees & Godspell, just to name a few. This is her

third production with the Everett Theater since moving to Delaware in 2015. Geri is super excited to be part of this talented cast.

Mariela Rivero (Ensemble) is a ninth grader at Tri-State Christian

Academy. She has recently at the Everett in Side by Side by Sondheim and as Cinderella in The Princess Plays. A favorite role was Mother in her school's Father Knows Best. Mariela also enjoys playing the piano, singing, speaking Spanish, sports and coaching cheerleading. She would like to thank the cast and crew for making

this such an exciting show.

Rebecca Ronan (Maid/Ensemble): My first play was in a drama camp production in 2004 with two of the cast members of this show. I didn't have time to be in a play in college, so it's nice to finally be on

stage again.

Erica Santos (Ensemble/Maid) is delighted to join The Everett Theater for her first production! Originally from New York City, in 2014 she graduated from UD with a B.M. in Vocal Performance and a B.S.

in Finance. Not only can you find her on stage with various other production companies but also pursing ballroom dancing endeavors.

Mia Scarangelli (Ensemble) is a 7th grade student at Newark Charter School. Productions include Revenge of the Pigs, Scrooge’s

Christmas, Les Miserables, & Short Film. She enjoys choir and participating in The Imagination Players. Mia is thankful for the

opportunity she’s been given to work with the amazing production staff and supportive cast of The Little Mermaid. Mia wants to thank the

audience for supporting The Everett Theatre and hopes you enjoy the show.

Kasey Stevens (Ensemble/Seagull)

Ava Straub (Ensemble) is a 7th grade student at AGW middle school. This will be her fourth performance at the Everett Theatre. Outside of the theatre she is busy with Girl Scouts and her school

choir. Ava is excited to be a part of this production this is her favorite Disney movie. She would like to thank her family for supporting her

and hope you enjoy the show.

Jess Verchick (Sailor, Chef, Ensemble): The Little Mermaid wraps up Jessica’s first season as part of the Everett ensemble. She is

super proud to be part of such a welcoming group of kids, teens, and adults. Jessica has performed in Shrek, Beauty and the Beast, and

Seussical as well as a number of our new cabaret shows.

Nathaniel Walbert (Pilot/Chef Louis) enjoys acting and volunteering here at The Everett. Nate would like to thank Chris and Mary Everett

for all the hard work they put in to make the Everett what it is. He would also like to thank his daughter Darby, his mother Bonnie and

girlfriend Renee for their patience and support.

Delaney Weaver (Atina) is very excited to be appearing in her third Everett production. She has also been in numerous school shows and sang in the Delaware All-State Choir the past two years. She

can't wait for everyone to see the show!

Danielle Williams (Adrina) comes from Philadelphia but grew up and lived in Middletown since 2001. Since 2004, Danielle has been

involved in the performing arts industry. Danielle received her Bachelors of Art in Communications while minoring in Theatre Arts at

Delaware State University in Dover.

Nate Williams (Sailor/Ensemble) is 13 and attends Newark Charter School. He has been an active part of the NCS Theatre program including roles in their performances of Beauty and the Beast and

Les Miserables. This is Nate's first show with The Everett, and he is extremely excited for this opportunity!

Daria Willis (Ensemble/Seagull) is 14 years old and a sophomore at Middletown High School. She loves performing at the Everett and

has been in many productions there, such as The Secret Garden and Peter and the Starcatcher. She hopes you enjoy this amazing show,and would like to thank her parents and her amazing Everett family

for always supporting her!

Cindy Zern (Adella/Seagull) is very excited to be back with the whole Zern clan at the Everett Theatre for The Little Mermaid! She

was last seen here as “Mayzie” in Seussical the Musical and “Fiona” in Shrek the Musical. She would like to thank the cast and crew for

their countless hours of hard work! Enjoy the show!

Colin Zern (Ensemble) is very excited to do another show at the Everett Theatre with his family. He has been having fun in The Little

Harry Zern (Leeward, Sailor, Chef) is pleased to be back on stage with his family and friends. Harry was last seen at the Everett in

Seussical the Musical as a Wickersham Brother. He hopes you enjoy The Little Mermaid!

Jason Zern (King Triton): The Everett has become Jason's second home, as this is the fourth show he's been involved in since the fall. Once again, he's happy to share the stage with his family and his

Everett family and friends. He thanks the cast for the time and commitment to make this a fabulous undersea adventure... Enjoy!

Josh Zern (Prince Eric) is a senior at Avon Grove High School and will be attending Millersville University in the Fall with a major in Secondary Education. He loves doing theater, especially at the

Everett and with his whole family!!!. Previous roles that he has had are Felix (Fabulous Fable Factory), Daniel (Once on this Island),

Monsieur Darque (Beauty and the Beast), and Horton (Seussical) all at the Everett. He also teaches martial arts at the Hockessin Athletic

Club. He hopes you all enjoy this performance!
