DG Precision Manufacturing is an ISO Certified
high precision manufacturing machine shop
located in Southern California. Our focus is the highest
customer satisfaction from our quality services of EDM,
WaterJet and Swiss Turning applications to a variety of

Family owned and operated, the Gervais family has
been involved in EDM since the 1960’s and Dave
Gervais is a second generation owner and operator
with a keen sense of the latest needs and applications
manufacturers face today.

We also offer value added services such as in-house design, reverse engineering and part inspection
services. Our CAD/CAM department can accept all files including IGES, DXF and AutoCAD files.
OUR SPECIALIZED MACHINING EQUIPMENT
ABRASIVE WATERJET CUTTING:
Our Mitsubishi WaterJet can accommodate a 6’x12’ sheet of material and can hold tolerances of .005”. With this tool, virtually any material up to 6 inches thick can be cut. Our machine combines the speed of WaterJet with the precision only found in a Mitsubishi. Unlike EDM, a WaterJet machine can cut non-conductive materials. WaterJet machining has the ability to cut material without interfering with the material’s structure since there is no “heat-affected zone” (HAZ) which makes it a good fit for aerospace and medical related parts.
EDM MACHINING:
Our EDM department includes wire EDM and CNC sinker EDM machines from Mitsubishi and Fanuc. EDM is a non-traditional machining method of removing metal by eroding a part with electrical discharges between an electrode and the work piece. The EDM can erode parts regardless of its hardness as long as the part is conductive. Our EDM machines can cut parts within +/- .00001” and down to an 8RMS surface finish.
SWISS STYLE TURNING:
Developed for the Swiss watch making industry, Swiss-type turning centers are designed to turn small, complex parts with high precision automotive, medical electronics and micro-mechanics, Swiss style turning is needed for work requiring high accuracy. At DG Precision Manufacturing, we can precision turn any of your part needs. Using Tornos and Citizen high precision Swiss style automatic lathes and CNC turning lathes, we can produce complex precision components to your print specifications.
