Presenters: Geoff Metcalf, Samantha Daly, Simone NokesGeoff MetcalfeGeoff has been a Team Leader in the Engineering Development Section of a Council’s Infrastructure Division. Geoff played a pivotal role in the application process for development approval within Councils. The key engineering input into assessment and conditioning of development applications, construction certificates, subdivision certificates, preparation of State Planning Instruments, strategic planning and rezoning, code and policy review.

Geoff had 40 years experience in all aspects of civil engineering (32 with Local Government) . Of these 32 years in local government 20 years was in development control and (12 years as a team leader)

Samantha Daly - Partner, McCullough Robertson LawyersSamantha has worked in the planning and environment sector for nine years and has significant experience in the property, energy and resources industries.

She regularly advises on the provisions of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Mining Act, Protection of the Environment Operations Act, Contaminated Land Management Act, Water Management Act, Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act and environmental planning instruments.
