Meet Jo,Volunteer Language Assistant Through this volunteering opportunity, Jo has:- Developed social skills- Improved communication skills- Gained class management skills

Discovered talent and interest in this field and is currently working towards a qualification in becoming a teacher.

Meet Jo,- Volunteer - Organises weekly tea parties for the elderly - Treasurer of a Volunteering Group.- Jo is now a very reliable and knowledgeable events organiser- Has gained organisation and communication skills by arranging the weekly events - Discovered joy of Befriending

Being a treasurer Jo has:- Gained experience handling cash- Budgeting / applying for funding.- Gained basic accounting skills (preparing

end of term budget reports)
