Dear Sons of the American Revolution, As the parent of a contestant in your youth Joseph S.
Rumbaugh Oratorical Contest I would like to thank you for many things. First, I would like to thank you for sponsoring the contest and inspiring young people to learn about history. My son, Eddie, has grown from the experience. Thank you also for your wonderful hospitality to the students and families in Louisville. From the little extras like the 115th commemorative bag to the elegant awards luncheon we felt welcome and special! Thank you very, very much. Finally, thank you for the work you do to remind us of the sacrifices made to make this country great!
