“Coventry University supplied 24 international students to help us during the weekend and they were terrific ”-Hamilton Bland and John Clarke

(NSPCC Events Committee)

• Rugby Beer Festival (Butts Arena). Students assisted with set up and on the day with registration and serving customers.

• Charity Fundraising Gala. This large scale event was hosted at the Ricoh Arena, a large group of students supported set up throughout the day and had various roles in the evening assisting with the fundraising, event support, charity raffle and closing/clear up of the event

• Save The Children – Christmas Jumper Campaign. We supported the nationwide STC Christmas jumper campaign last year. We had lots of groups of 4 students work from Asda stores across Coventry to help raise money for Save The Children, bringing in a total of over £1000 collectively.

• Save The Children – Event support and fundraising activities with STC are regular and we are heavily involved across the West Midlands. We find that students thoroughly enjoy supporting charities and always seem to get lots of interest towards getting involved.
