Workshop Agenda & Modules

Workshops commence at 9:00am and aim to finish at 5:00pm, with two 15 minutes breaks each day and a 45 minute lunch.

Day One Day Two

• Introduction.• Discussion on current school systems and

processes relating to recruitment.• Examine legal requirements, responsibilities for

staff.• Developing job descriptions.• Identifing recruitment sources.• Developing:

• Job advertisements.• Job interview questions.• Selection criteria.• Referee reports.• Letter to successful candidates.• Letter to unsuccessful candidates.• Contracts.• Visa process.

• Induction programs.

Completion of systems and processes described in Day 1

Alignment to Unit/s of Competency:

Students who successfully complete the assessment portion of the workshop can be issued with a Statement of Attainment for BSBHRM405 - Support the Recruitment, Selection and Induction of Staff (additional fee applies).

Pathways for further Professional Development:

• This unit can be included as part of the Diploma of Management with ETAS Group.• Cost per person US$350 (minimum 15 persons.)• Additional assessment cost for unit of competence from Diploma of Management (US $100 per person.)
