CHRISTIAN VALUES CONFERENCE July 14-18
For one week each summer, teens from across
the United States come together at the YMCA
Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, North
Carolina to explore their personal values, share
in spiritual fellowship, and develop new
friendships. The YMCA Christian Values
Conference provides an opportunity for young
people to gain deeper insight into themselves
while having non-stop fun during all the
outrageous games, carnivals, songs and special
events. Join us on the mountain this summer
for a week of unforgettable memories!
ACT PREPARATION Participants will engage in ACT prep tutoring to better prepare students for the demands of the ACT, including test-taking strategies, time-management skills, and academic skills through individualized instruction from highly trained ACT tutors. Higher scores on the ACT can mean the difference between going to college and getting into your dream
CAREER EXPLORATION Professionals in various careers will lead teens in the discovery of unlimited professional fields which can be fulfilling personally, professionally as well as teach them to become contributors to their community. Teens learn about and participate in summer job opportunities and/or internships and professional organizations related to their field of interest to help get a jump start on their future…all through the guidance of adults who are successful in those professions.
