It also includes establishing frameworks for WSH management programmes and emergency preparedness and response plan in accordance with organisational safety and health needs and WSH legal and other requirements. WHO SHOULD ATTEND COURSE DURATION 30 hours (Including Assesment) The occupations that this course would be relevant to include but not limited to management, Health & Safety personnel and line supervisors. COURSE OUTLINE • Review WSH policy and risk management plan for deficiencies against the requirements of SS 506 and risk management code of practice • Apply hazard identification and risk assessment methodology to determine the controls necessary in reducing risks at source in accordance with requirements of SS 506 and risk management code of practice • Set WSH objectives and determine specific programme(s) to enable the achievement of the WSH objectives for organisation in alignment with WSH policy • Establish WSH management programme framework for organisation to embark on to meet the organisational safety and health needs and in accordance with WSH legal and other requirements • Establish a framework for organisational emergency preparedness and response plan in accordance with WSH legal and other requirements • Develop operational control to manage the WSH risks to an acceptable level in consistent with hierarchy of controls and comply with applicable WSH legal and other requirements • Develop performance measurement and monitoring procedure to monitor and measure WSH performance in accordance with organisational safety and health needs and WSH legal and other requirements • Develop processes for investigation and reporting of accident/incident based on WSH legal and other requirements • Establish an internal audit programme to evaluate the organisational WSH management system for conformance to SS 506 requirements and WSH legal and other requirements • Develop the WSH management system implementation plan based on the needed changes identified that fulfil SS 506 requirements and risk management code of practice • Conduct management review of WSH management system to ensure its continuing stability, adequacy and effectiveness in accordance with SS 506 requirements and WSH legal and other requirements • Present to stakeholders the developed WSH management system implementation plan for review in accordance with organisational procedures TRAINING METHODOLOGY Lectures and group exercises CERTIFICATION Upon successful completion and assessment of the course, participants will receive an Statement of Attainment (SOA) from WDA. • Be involved in developing a practical risk management implementation plan for the organization which identify speci�c actions to be taken, by whom and time for their completion. It entails the formation of risk management team, risk assessment, controlling and monitoring the risks and communicating these risks to all persons invloved and in compliance with the Risk Management Code of Practice (RMCP)

COURSE OUTLINE• Verify the expectations of a risk management champion with relevant person in accordance with organisational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policy• Form a risk management team based on organisational WSH policy and in compliance with WSH (Risk Management) Regulations requirements• Establish hazard identification methodology for the workplace to identify WSH hazards associated with any work activity or trade• Establish risk assessment methodology for the workplace to determine the risk levels of the identi�ed hazards associated with any work activity or trade• Establish risk control measures methodology for the workplace to manage the identi�ed risks to a level as low as reasonably practicable by following the principles of hierarchy of control• Develop a workplace risk management plan to implement the hazard identi�cation, risk assessment, and risk control measures in accordance with organisational WSH policy• Present the risk management plan to relevant stakeholders for consideration in accordance with organisational procedures• Communicate the identified hazard, risk evaluated, and implemented risk control measures to the person concerned in accordance with risk management plan
