Devchem 253Chemical resistant lining
A two-component epoxy novolac, Devchem® 253 is a high solids chemical resistant lining system with exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemicals and solvents. Devchem® 253 also provides exceptional resistance over a wide range of temperatures and pressures. It features excellent application and curing properties and does not require baking. Devchem® 253 is ideal for industrial storage and process tanks as well as pipelines, railroad tanker car linings and high pressure crude oil separation tanks. It can also be used as a protective coating for highly corrosive environments.
• Excellent application properties
• High volume solids; low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
• High gloss provides easy cleaning
• Available in a lower viscosity version ideal for small diameter pipe and spooling
• Easy to apply by either plural or single leg airless spray
• Does not require baking to cure
• Years of proven performance in the harshest of environments
