Executive Summary Project Management has become a need for any company to survive in the fast-moving market today. The skills related to project management are universal and any person in any function will profit from the knowledge obtained during working on projects and participating in these courses. In this document, you will find a very extensive and detailed overview of the trainings that are available, will be available soon and how they can be used to improve the project management knowledge of your organization and people in it.

The principle of the trainings is very simple: - Flexibility - Adaptable to your needs - Organized in four levels: online courses, basic in-class courses, additional in-class

courses and certification courses.

Online Courses (Par 2.2 and Par 3): At this moment there are two one online course published and we are working on additional courses that should be available before the end of 2Q2019. Our course offer will be composed of short courses of about 2.5 to 3 hours and give an introduction in the specific subject. We refer to these as our “Fast Track” curriculum. In addition to the short courses, we also provide advanced courses which explain the subjects that have been introduced in the “Fast Track” curriculum in a more detailed and profound way. The duration is typically over 8 hours of video. The course “Project Management Tools and Techniques” provides 14.5 hours on-demand video and introduces the participants in the basics of project management. It is a medium level entry course. The course “Fast Track to Earned Value Management” is a medium to advanced level course of 2.5 hours of video and gives a summary about Earned Value Management. We are actually completing two new Fast Track courses: Fast Track to Project Success and Fast Track to Quality Management for Projects. In the next step, we will provide the advanced versions of these two Fast Track courses. All courses can be offered as a stand-alone course, or it can be used in a “blended” way where the advantages of on-line learning are combined with periodic in-class review sessions.

Basic In-Class Courses (Par 2.3 and Par 4): Our basic “in class” courses are a set of 10 courses that will start with the basic course “Tools and Techniques” and will continue with a set of 8 additional topics related to risk, earned value, quality, resources & stakeholders, communication & personal behavior, finances, ethics, business analysis. The program ends with a project simulation. The 10 courses provide a high level of project management and a perfect preparation for a successful career in project management. All courses are based on PMI standards.

Additional In-Class Courses (Par 2.5 and Par 6): In addition to the basic program, we can also provide more specialized courses related to different topics like Agile, Knowledge Management, Negotiations and other subjects that may be useful for project managers. This list can be extended depending on your specific needs.

Certification Courses (Par 2.4, 2.5 and Par 5, 7): Certification courses specifically prepare the participants for PMI certification exams. The two most popular certifications at this moment are CAPM and PMP. Additional certification courses can be organized when needed.

At the end of the document you will find a possible study schedule that can be used for people with different levels of knowledge and experience related to project and how to manage them. It is of course possible to adapt this you your specific needs.

The Training Program 1 Principles The Project Management training program is built around our set of courses that will provide deep knowledge in the area of project management to the participants. The program is modular and starts with introductory courses, is followed by advanced courses and finally it prepares the participants to succeed in their Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified associate in Project Management (CaPM) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The program also includes online courses with on-demand video and bended learning in which the online course is combined with in-class application of the knowledge obtained during the online sessions

2 Overview of Trainings

2.1 General Concept All courses have been selected to build knowledge in the field of project management starting from the actual level of the participants. The basic courses are suitable for people with limited experience in project management, people who want to start in project management or professionals who want to review the basics. More advanced courses build on the previous experiences so that the participants obtain an in-depth knowledge in all aspects of Project Management. In addition to gaining knowledge, the participants are also gradually prepared to pass the prestigious PMI certifications like PMP or CAPM depending on their experiences. These courses can be taken at different moments during the training program as will be shown later in this document. Courses are typically organized in three-day and two-day sessions. A day of training typically starts at 9 am and ends at 6pm. Breaks are scheduled every hour and at noon there is an extended lunch break. At the end of each course, the knowledge of the participants is tested by means of a multiple-choice test, presentation or different type of evaluation as described in the course description.

2.2 Online Training Modules Our online courses are provided via an online training platform of good reputation like Udemy. Each course is based on the latest PMBOK version (6th edition, 2017) and can be updated. All videos are in English with English sub-titles. We are preparing versions with different language sub-titles. The access to the courses can be provided on an individual basis or companies and organizations can buy larger numbers of licenses that then can be distributed between their members or employees. Access is granted on an individual basis which means that a person, once registered can access the course as long as he/she lives. Each course has several tests to verify the knowledge and progress of the participants and at the end a certificate of completion is delivered by Udemy. It is possible to get a certificate issued by De Ceuster Academy if it is wanted.
