1. Create an Account in MS Outlook

(1) Click to launch the list of your accounts.

A new form is openend that allows you to enter account data. The role is already pre-filled with "Prospect" (default value can be confgured), the employee responsible is pre-filled with the users's name. Now start making your entries.

(3) The Company field is filled out.

The values of drop-down lists are downloaded from SAP CRM in the language of the logged-in user.

(4) Open the drop-down list to select a Rating.

(5) Clicking the entry selects it.

(6) Open the drop-down list to select an Industry.

(7) Clicking the entry selects it.

(8) Enter a search term.

(9) Click to enter the phone number.

The phone number can be entered either in this popup or in the input field directly without opening this popup.

(10) Enter the phone number and click .

(11) Click to maintain the business address of the new prospect.

(12) Enter the address in the popup. (13) The Street field is filled out. (14) The City field is filled out. (15) The Postal Code field is filled out. (16) Open drop-down list to select the country.

(17) Open drop-down list to seelct a state or region.

2. Attach a Document

Synchronization relevant file types and file size can be configured.

(21) Select file you want to attach.

Basic data of the prospect like name, phone number and address is maintained. Even a note and an attachment are available.

3. Start Synchronization

Start manually the synchronizaion process to make this prospect available in SAP CRM. Typically this process works in the background and starts in intervals defined by the user.

(22) Right-clicking on with the mouse opens a shortcut menu.

4. Check Account Synchronization

Let's open the CRM WebClient UI to look at the synrchronized prospect.

(25) Click to launch the account search.

(26) Enter search criteria and click .

(27) Click on in the result list to navigate to the overview page of the newly created prospect.

This is the overview page showing details of the new prospect.

(28) Click to scroll down.

Scrolling down in the overview page shows also the attachments that has been synchronized with MS Outlook.
