Elaine Ng, is the founder of Management Resources Consultants (MRC) and founder of ex-HR Business Solutions (HRBS). A Singaporean and Hong Kong Permanent Resident, she resides in both cities.

She consults with organizations on employee salaries, executive compensation, sales incentives and commissions and expatriate remuneration across Asia. She has conducted this seminar for over 20 years, and helped organizations to design solutions to mobility issues and relocation policy across Asia Pacific, including transfer in and out of this region.

In MRC, she together with her dedicated team, has rolled out MRC’s global AI Market Sensor supporting MRC’s clients with MRC’s proprietary Super Compensation tool that predicts salaries and prices jobs across the world, including unique jobs by job, job size, country, city and industry, using Machine Learning. Other tools include MRC’s proprietary Global Relocation Calculator, Merit Increase Predictor, etc.

Before MRC, she worked for Mercer as Mercer-HRBS Leader in 2016 looking after ex-HRBS business which she sold to Mercer end Nov 2015. Before that, she managed ex-HRBS offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Singapore and consulted with clients. Prior to HRBS, she was Managing Director

(Mercer Executive Resources Consulting, Asia) as well as Performance & Rewards Director (Mercer Greater China). And before that, she was employed by ex-Corporate Resources Group (CRG) as Regional Director, North Asia. Pre-consulting, Elaine was a human resources practitioner, having worked in the electronics and medical industries.

She has solid experience in compensation and benefits benchmarking spanning industries. She started and led the retail/luxury goods as well as global sourcing compensation and benefits surveys in 2008 and monopolized these two surveys in Asia Pac prior to selling HRBS to Mercer. She is also well known for executive compensation review.

Elaine graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Brunel, University of West London. She is also a trained Company Secretary from the ICSA, London. She is a current Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from WorldatWork (formerly American Compensation Association), having acquired her certification in the United States, and attended the Advanced Management Program at Oxford University.

She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
