Escher was founded in 1925, in The Hague, The Netherlands, by Mr. Ir. Anne Escher.

In 1989 Escher as equipment manufacturer was relocated to Industrial Area Dintelmond in Heijningen, in the province of West Brabant.

Escher merged with the company Seamore in 1994, after which Gas Dehydration Systems became part of Escher s scope of supply.
