SOLUTION //By using the Sans, Serif, and Mix faces of FF Nexus, the three parts of the self (Id, Ego & Super Ego) can be easily understood and explained. By using a literal comparison (fac-es within a font family) and juxtaposing it with a more abstract idea (philosophy of the self), it provides readers with a more level playing field when it comes to trying to understand the mind and human nature in general.
OBJECTIVE //To attempt to understand how the
human mind works in terms of con-scious and unconscious mind and
the idea of the “self,” and use it in a way to explain the relationship of the
FF Nexus typeface.

OBJECTIVE // To create packaging that promotes the laid-back, yet passionate beer
crazy attitude of Moonlight Brewery.
SOLUTION // By using illustrations with some extreme personality and materials that supported the hand-crafted feel, I was able to embody the ambiance of Moonlight Brewery and all that they stand for and represent.

SOLUTION //In order to connect people to the Worldline paper line, it only seems natural to show them the worldline that they already participate in each and every day. By creating a series of peices that show people from cultures in polar opposite places (literally), I was able to create a sense of unity through diversity.
OBJECTIVE // To express the idea of unity through
diversity that creates the “Worldline” though every culture that exists today. By presenting consumers with an idea
that related to everyone, no matter your age, race, culture, etc, you create a more
personal connection.

SOLUTION //By creating a board that does not rep-
licate the standard layout created by Has-boro games, I was able to evoke a feeling
of authenticity. With the use of different languages, numerals, and communication
terms and symbols, I was able to create a board that was more "worldly" and that
could bridge communication across all types of people and cultures.

SOLUTION //By using simple artwork, I was able to create a poster series and promotional media that is easy to understand and that promotes an extremely obvious message. People from all ages, races, and social classes can relate to the cause and in turn use it at a tool to help them accept the life they live or to motivate them to make the changes that are necessary to change it.

OBJECTIVE //To work with a group on a
redesign of Walgreens where we create brands that are appro-
priate for the consumer but that elevate the company to a higher
level and price point.
SOLUTION //By working in a team enviornment, I was able to truely see the magic of collaboration. While we are all creative minds and could have attempted this porject in a number of different ways, working together led to possibiities that we would never have imagined on our own. With four creatives working on one idea, we were able to transform Walgreens from a simple cornerstore into a one-stop-shop that would be popular among a much wider demo-graphic than they currently occupy.

OBJECTIVE //To create an evolutionary design that would both intrigue a new consumer market, yet still represent the autenticity that the current Walgreens customers know and love.

SOLUTION //Cornerstone is the brand that best rep-resents Walgreens current consumers, it is straight forward and covers everyday products that all shoppers will buy.
SOLUTION //Uptown is a private brand that will attract people who are stylish yet need affordable products. This brand has a sophistication that the rest of the store is lacking.
SOLUTION //Dixon is the brand that is geared towards men, which is a demographic that is normally not targeted. For once, men will have the need to go to Walgreens for their favorite product. This is a brand that feels cool and is actually priced affordably.
SOLUTION //Eight is a private brand that oozes luxury while still following the ever-prevelant "or-ganic" trend. People can treat themselves to a healthier lifestyle and feel relaxed about their experience and the price point.

Welcome to Sushi Bistro!
With two well designed locations in San Fran-cisco, California, we have grown into a sushi house that offers everything from classic rolls to the most eccentric combinations. An excel-lent value for money. Sushi Bistro is still a hit after several years.
The restaurant sits on a quiet block in the inner Richmond, where a young and boister-ous clientele fills the sunny room’s closely clustered tables. Unique rolls are the main draw here. Expertly done, these signature offerings take on a pleasing Latino and Carib-bean twist. Names reflect the chef’s sense of humor, as in the Magic Mushroom (chopped salmon and yellowtail mixed with macadamia pesto and topped with mushrooms, the flash-fried); and the Monster-in-Laws (chopped
spicy albacore, cucumber, and green onion topped with yellowtail, jalapeno, and ponzu sauce). Pleasure-seeking purists will be equally satisfied by the relatively large por-tions of sashimi and nigiri.
