THE TYPE FAMILYThere are three fonts that make up the basic components of this style:▶ Minion Pro is used for headlines, decks and text.▶ Myriad Pro is used for secondary ele-ments, such as captions, bylines and spe-cial headlines.▶ Chaparral Pro is used for display and labeling.Minion ProMinion Pro is an Adobe typeface de-signed by Robert Slimbach and was first released in 1990. Minion Pro is highly readable and functionable, yielding flexi-bility and typographic control for lengthy text or display settings. Minion Pro is ideal for uses ranging from limited-edi-tion books to newsletters to packaging because it has many ligatures, small caps, oldstyle figures, swashes, and other add-ed glyphs.

Myriad Pro is a sans-serif font designed by Robert Slimbach and Carol Twombly for Adobe in 1992. The typeface is best-known for its usage by Apple. Myriad Pro originally included thirty fonts in three widths and five weights each, with complementary italics. This humanist font is widely used by corporations, uni-versities and organizations for marketing and publication purposes.

Chaparral Pro was designed for Adobe by Carol Twombly, and combines the leg-ibility of slab serif designs popularized in the 19th century with 16th-century ro-man book lettering.The result is a versa-tile, hybrid slab-serif design. Chaparral has varying letter proportions that give it an accessible and friendly appearance in all weights from light to bold. Chapar-ral is widely used in printing and classical typesetting.

The name will not be bold unless provided with a caption, in which case it will be bold with a Myriad Pro regular font to follow.▶ Summary heads: Myriad Pro regu-lar will be the main summary head.
