design research - introductory presentation at budapest sustainability jam 2013
DESCRIPTION
Introduction to design research methods with emphasis on contextual inquiry. It served as a briefing at a workshop. The presentation is light on theory. I aimed to give the participants a picture of what will they do in the following two hours. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZUzJKM4gF0TRANSCRIPT

I learned quite early that he is an amateur race driver
learn interesting things like deers are the most dangerous on a night road as they don’t have their eyes on the side
learn about personal motives and drivers

key insight(s)
the keys were organised in the order of stops to save time
news paper delivery was too fast paced of a business for our ipad app idea
drivers were speeding all the way
they were running when they put out the paper packs
deliveries were kept in memory and documented in batches
some drivers had custom made key holders in their car to further optimize to
speed
