LET’S TALK DIGITAL IMAGESTurning Artwork and photographs in to laser engravings IMAGE OPTIMIZATION

Choose photos with good resolution, brightness, focus, contrast, detail, and definition. We will work to make sure your image is optimized for engraving

Photographs, and artwork can be engraved into a variety of materials creating an engraved relief

Value determines laser power(black=full power)Higher power=deeper cuts

RASTERENGRAVING

Black fills create solid, dimensional etchings

Red strokes cut all the way through the material along the inside of a design

Green strokes  cut all the way through the material along the outside of a design

Black strokes create simple outline etchings

Stroke Fill/StrokeAlways use the minimum line weight (AI=.001)

Both fills and strokes can be used to create engravings. Any size stroke can be used to engrave lines with specific thicknesses through multiple passes

~300 dpi resolution is         preferred

Cut lines can be created from silhouette drawings or images. Submit a high contrast image, if hand-drawing, sharpie on white paper is idealVector lines will be generally accurate but not as accurate as drawing the image in a graphics software
