The inspiration for my design was fashion designer Alexander McQueen. Mc-Queen’s fashion style was innovative, modern, and always luxurious. My im-pression of McQueen’s designs is that he searched inspiration from past fash-ion trends and added his own touch to it. His touch lent modernity and cleanness to each piece, which consequently became a must have for fashionistas.
As with McQueen’s designs, I also searched for traditional design styles as my inspiration for this project. My interpretation of traditional design turned contemporary resulted in a clean design, with all the qualities of a good design then becoming a luxurious bathroom.
Moreover, the accessories were also chosen to compliment the tile, adding to the de-sign a higher level of elegance. The red vase and dahlias were not only add color to this neutral bathroom, however, it helps to evoke the idea of luxury, and something more.
