The winners of the fifth annual Design Excellence Awards demonstrate Kansas City’s top
talent in residential and commercial interior design and architecture. And true to form, local
architects, designers and artists brought only the best. The portfolios submitted displayed
stunning, never-before-seen work that bears witness to the superior design and architecture
talent Kansas City offers the world.
The following pages showcase the outstanding work from our Gold award winners, along
with words of advice for those with similar spaces or design aspirations.
