JBA worked closely with Miller Architects to provide topographic services, boundary surveying and planning services on the 17-acre shopping center in Apple Valley. We prepared preliminary drainage and grading plans to obtain the entitlements of the project, which included a Cinema Star Theatre.

During engineering design we prepared substantial offsite improvement plans including water, a sewer lift station and street improvements on Bear Valley Road. We also provided construction staking with an aggressive schedule to open the theatre on time and within budget.

JBA worked closely with Carlone Construction to provide all planning, lot line adjustments, design and construction staking services for the Brier Business Center in San Bernardino. The Brier Business Center is made up of six buildings along the Zanja Channel in the Hospitality District of San Bernardino.

JBA worked closely with City staff and Flood Control to provide the necessary set backs for the buildings from the Zanja Channel. We provided all design engineering and construction staking for the building and improvements.

Because of the project Steep terrain and existing restrictions, close attention was paid to ADA requirements and street access.

JBA acted as the construction manager on this project with grading, paving and lighting contractors to provide the services in a timely manner for the church.
