PURPoSeTo get back on the case of creating a new institution with fresh and innovative attitudes.

To resume the case for our own design centre.

Past eventsLets not get involved in the past experience with the enclosure of the previous institution, as there were plenty of questionable steps taken. More important is to concentrate on the establishment of new one and learn from the past.

Czech book!it is introduction to the problems we are facing as a society today. The overview of the issue is supported with research. This book is avail-able in English and Czech versions.

ideal Scenario bookbasic outlines of the ideal scenario and a guide to start the dialogue about this issue. written proposal to profes-sionals and people who might be interested in this issue.

letters and mailsThe next stage consists of networking with the profes-sionals themselves and shar-ing their views and opinion.also other international bod-ies with similar interests will be contacted. last but not least inter/national business-es who might be connected in any possible way will be contacted as well.

a website will be created where all comments and opinions can be gathered, information shared and progress displayed.

Final documentFrom the website we will obtain a bigger picture of the problem. we will be able to finalize ‘the ideal scenario’ of the institution and create a document which appeals to the government stating our request.

MediaThis can be a big help to spread the word and involve a wider audience. it will also help to open our topic to the public and get their insights.

So please lets’ show the government they cannot silence the words of profession-als and that it is time to face this issue and ignoring it is not an option.

For us it is yet another audi-ence to whom we need to sell the products of our culture and creativity. This institution is positioned in the middle of Czech culture and as we have learned from previous regimes, cannot be pushed to the back-ground.

The power lies in our hands, not theirs!
