Septic tanks first appeared in France in 1860, and was

invented by Fosse Mouras engineers. So far, the type

of work-site wastewater treatment has been popular

all over the world.

Septic tanks can serve for a toilet, a family or group households for wastewater objects such as collective kitchens, restaurants, hotels, resorts, schools, health institutions, offices and establishments breeding and processing of agricultural products, food, etc. ...

Septic tanks are widely used in many places because of many advantages such as stable handling performance, even when the wastewater has large fluctuations, occupying a small area, cheap, and the construction, management are simple, so they are easy to be accepted.

However, to promote the role of wastewater treatment facilities in place, the engineers need to design, construction, installation and operation management and maintenance of septic tanks properly, especially with conditions in some areas, while most domestic wastewater after primary treatment in septic tank, wastewater is discharged directly into receiving water without going through any of the next stage of treatment.

Septic tanks are built of brick, precast reinforced concrete or reinforced concrete poured in place, or made available by materials such as composites, HDPE, ...
