SAFETY: Does the design of the building encourage tenant interaction and a sense of community? Does the design make it easier to see what’s happening in public spaces and to have ‘eyes on the street’?

VARIETY AND COMPLEXITY: Is the building interesting to look at? Does the design inspire tenants and neighbors to use the variety of spaces?

CONNECTIONS: How to people get to the development? Is it easy to get there from the transit stop? How do tenants maneuver through the development?
