Context: Drop a stop aims to ‘nudge’ commuters using the most congested tube stations in London Borough of Camden to walk to the closest less congested station to commence their tube journey. The hope is that having experienced walking between stations they may chose to do so more often. To relieve pressure on the tube and improve commuters health.
Project: Design Against Crime Camden Council and MA Communication Design students used statistical info to map the problem and the feasibility of the ‘nudge’ proposal. To assist commuters in making this choice a series of maps were created that show the quickest and most amenable walking routes between targeted stations
