Design a President

Task: Create a story about a future president of the United States and design his campaign poster.

Your story should include:

1. A brief biography on your president. (1 paragraph) Where was he/she born? What was her/his life like growing up? Where did they go to school? Is he/she married? Kids? Pets? MAKE SURE YOUR PRESIDENT FULFILLS THE 3

QUALIFICATIONS OUTLINED IN THE CONSTITUITION. (See presidency notes)

2. 2-3 paragraphs on his/her presidency. Your story should include the following terms:

20th, 22nd, and 25th amendment line of succession Members of the Cabinet State of the Union Address Budget Veto War Powers Resolution Diplomacy Treaties Supreme Court Justice Reprieve, Pardon Commutation Be sure to include in your presidents story their role as a

legislative leader, commander in chief, judicial powers, and a foreign policy leader

3. Campaign Poster complete with slogan and two platforms.
