• City: active, bustling, noisy, clean, dirty…• Traffic : loud, congested, snarled …• Buildings : old, shabby, rundown,
crumbling, modern, futuristic, sleek, towering, squat ...
• Pavement : concrete, cement, slick, littered, swept, cracked…

• People : hurried, bundled, smiling, frowning, making faces, rushed …
