She married Joseph Boffa and they moved to Babbitt in 1955. Rose Marie was a homemaker and a very

special mother and grandmother.

She was the first woman to be elected to the Babbitt City Council and served eight years. She was a

volunteer for the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society, Food Shelf and many

other local organizations. She was a charter member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and was

actively involved in Women of the ELCA and its Altar Guild, Circle and led her circle's Bible Study.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Babbitt and the Babbitt Golf Course.

She is survived by her daughters, Roxanne (Brad) Sader and Jill (Dave) Lossing; sons, Patrick and

Joseph (Patty) Boffa II; grandchildren, Amy Sader, Christopher (Gabriela) Lossing, Kate (Matt) Hall,

Derek Lossing, Joseph Boffa III, Emily Rose Boffa, Cory Lossing and Shannon Boffa;

great-grandchilden, Michelle Lossing, Natalie Hall, Whitney Rose Hall, Leonardo Lossing and

Courtney Hall; sister, Faye Center; sister in-law, Jerry Howard; four nieces, two nephews and best

Barbara Marie Seaman, 74, of Jefferson City, formerly of Elkins, Arkansas, died Tuesday, May 29,

2012, at her daughter's home in Jefferson City. She was born on June 3, 1937, in Chicago, Ill., the

daughter of the late Bambino and Helen Agresto Campea. She was married in 1958, to Leo O.

Gatewood in Chicago, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1990. On June 3, 1978, in Waynesville, Mo., she

married William Seaman. He preceded her in death in 2011. Barbara worked as a budget analyst with

Fort Leonard Wood for 15 years and as a sales agent with Coldwell Banker in Bella Vista, Arkansas for

10 years. She attended the Catholic church in Bella Vista, Ark., and loved to play golf and travel.

Survivors include: four children, Barb (Joe) Cremer, Jefferson City; Sandi (Jon) Lindquist, Jefferson

Mildred Papa and Frank Fusco, both of Astoria, were married in St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church at

a ceremony performed by the Rev. Joseph Schaffner.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael papa of 23-32 29th street, wore a white satin gown with a long net

veil. She was attended by her sister, Caroline, as maid of honor, wearing an orchid velvet and net gown with

matching accessories.

The best man was Frank Respoli, the bridegroom's brother-in-law. Mary Guarnaccia was flower girl, wearing a

powder blue taffeta and net gown.

The couple will live at 23.18 27th street, Astoria. The bride attended Washington Irving High School,

Manhattan. the bridegroom served in the Navy.
